Largent ran a horrible campaign not to mention the cockfighting issue turned out every voter in Little Dixie! Not to mention the Indy got over 100,000 votes which no one predicted!

Some of us said months ago that Saxby Chambliss and Sonny Perdue would take GA.
Put LA in the 'R' column.

I thought of you last night while at the Cole Watch Party here in Norman when they announced Saxby Chambliss was the winner. I was on a thread with you several weeks ago when you tried to tell Freepers he was looking good!
YOU WERE RIGHT!!!!! Congratulations on two great wins in GA!

The RNC should spend a lot of money and get-out-the-Republican vote there to help her win the run-off election. It's worth a try! Landrieu is a loser RAT.

She is going to have a ton of help! Not sure how the rules are going to work with CFR since it kicked in today!

As most of you know Landrieu got the job because it was stolen for her in New Orleans. Does state law allow for outside poll watchers and if so how can we help? There are lots of FReepers in the surrounding states and this election is on a Saturday.

There are lots of FReepers in the surrounding states and this election is on a Saturday. We are studying this sort of thing right now. We plan to be in Louisiana every weekend between now and Dec. 7. We're having a lot of questions answered and will let you know when we know more. Over 50% of the people voting voted AGAINST Landblew, so she is vulnerable and can be beat.

Not surprisingly, the Louisiana Secretary of State website provides no guidance in that matter.

I've read on other threads that CFR doesn't apply to this run-off -- it's still part of the 2002 election.
I've also read that MacAuliffe blew so much money on his grudge match in Florida that the Dems don't have nearly the funds to pour into LA that the Republicans do.
Mrs. Terrell seems like a fine person. Best wishes to all the sane people in Louisiana over the next few weeks!

400 mile drive from Houston -- New Orleans. If we can help, let us know. Runoff date is Saturday, 7 December.

It's nice isn't it!

"Does state law allow for outside poll watchers and if so how can we help?" I don't know, HC, but I'll find out tomorrow.
I'm not too busy to make a trip to New Orleans to poll watch.
That means we have to become familiar with Louisiana election laws so I'll see if I can get a copy of those if we can participate.
I'll post the info tomorrow!
Great idea!

"the Louisiana Secretary of State website provides no guidance in that matter." I've got a lot of friends in South Louisiana, Dog.
I'll find out the details tomorrow and post them.

COB1 I think the two of us poll watching in Louisiana could scare half the state straight! ;-)
To: HoustonCurmudgeon; COB1
I think the two of you scared Texas into voting Republican in the early 90s. It hasn't been the same since.
