Couldn't find the details on Ehrlich's or WJLA's home page, but the Ehrlich campaign sent me an E-mail with the above blurb dated 9 Oct, 9:34 p.m.
In the past WJLA has used Survey USA's automated polling method, which is consistent with the relatively low number of undecided voters still almost four weeks out. I'll add more details as they become available.

I hope this holds, but watch out for the Kennedy crime syndicate. Some unfounded allegation against Ehrlich is bound to pop up in late October.
It would be sweet to see a Kennedy lose. Go, Ehrlich, Go.

Yes, Mrs. Kennedy/Townsend and her campaign staff are becoming more shrill and vicious every day. They sound a bit desperate.
The Survey USA poll from early Aug showed her up 48-47%. Not really much movement since then.

It will be interesting to see the dates this poll was conducted. In light of the debate farce and the shootings in Maryland, I would have expected something of a bump for Townsend. If Ehrlich is even or ahead after that, I think he's actually going to pull this out (barring any surprises, of course!).

In light of the debate farce and the shootings in Maryland, I would have expected something of a bump for Townsend. Are you talking about the joke debate at the DNC headquarters (NAACP)? Or about the two campaigns breaking off talks to hold more debates? If it's the former, I read in one or two articles that there wasn't any evident impact in the polls. Take that FWIW, but this poll would seem to support that assertion.
I looked at four or five other Survey USA polls from MD and other races. They seem to take 2-3 days to poll and announce the results on the same day they finished up their polling. So my guess is the poll was conducted from the 6th thru the 8th.

Bwahahaha...a KENNEDY can't get elected in ultra-liberal Maryland (the only southern state to go to Gore-- and by a big margin). This woman must be incredibly inept. The only odd thing is that the GOP is managing to do well in liberal states like Hawaii and Maryland this year, but in this and other recent elections, they keep losing ground in what is SUPPOSED to be "safe" Republican states...Kansas, Pennsyvania, New Hampshire, New Mexico, most of the south, etc.
Virgina elects an ultra-'RAT governor yet Maryland is about to elect a semi-conservative ("right wing extremist" if you ask Townsend). Have people living on either side the Potamac river decided to swap states? You gotta wonder...
