Great job, Maryland freepers!!!

We have achieved similar results in Illinois after having a power struggle in the party for decades (the RINO "old guard" is extremely corrupt and many of them have either resigned or been indicted). The tide turned our way a few weeks ago when conservatives held their ground during a three-week long fight over party Chairman. At last, the establishment gave up and GARY MacDOUGAL, the most conservative guy to hold the office in 30 years, is our new party chairman (a year ago, one of the state's leading conservative organizations tried to draft him to run for office, saying he was the "kind of leader" Republicans desperately need)

The complacent, "me tooism" Republicanism of George Ryan and Lee Daniels is now being replaced by principled conservatives in all the major positions within the GOP hierarchy. Buh bye, RINOs.

Conservatives on the verge of controlling Illinois GOP

Gary MacDougal

The powers-that-be know that if successful, this group will light a fire under the arses of like-minded Republicans in many other states. That's why I predict they'll be exerting some heavy-duty pressure soon. Don't let 'em win, give 'em hell!!!

Excellent. According to my friends in the young Republicans, a great conservative organization, the national Republican leadership has once again sterilized the California leadership in some way. I don't remember the full issue now, but it wasn't good. This has happened a number of times over the years. Ask DaleReed about his experiences along these lines.

In light of the current governor's anti-RKBA stance, he and the ruling DemocRATS would have preferred to circumvent these articles from the Maryland Constitution:

"Art. 29. That Standing Armies are dangerous to liberty, and ought not to be raised, or kept up, without the consent of the Legislature.

Art. 30. That in all cases, and at all times, the military ought to be under strict subordination to, and control of, the civil power."

Yes, I do know that the P.G. committee has had it's share of problems, too. Despite the help they get from MoCo with their fundraising.

You see, money isn't everything - especially when it comes to grassroots work. Also, the state party has got to clean house of certain unmentionable power brokers currently running things behind-the-scenes.

Thanks and congratulations on the great job you've done over their in Illinois!

Regardless of whether we win the Maryland gubernatorial race this November or not, certain state party leaders must go. Even they know that they've been milking the coffers to feather their own nests for too long now.

And just what is the significance of who is one the Central Committee? In California it is zip, nada, nothing, just something for poltical junkies to keep themselves entertained.
