President Trump cheered late Tuesday, after Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) lost his House primary to former New York City comptroller Brad Lander (D).
“Weak and pathetic Congressman Dan Goldman just lost, BIG!” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “I guess people didn’t like him illegally targeting President TRUMP.”
He added, “In any event, this jerk is finally GONE!”
Goldman, a former federal prosecutor, was the lead majority counsel in House Democrats’ first impeachment inquiry against the president in 2019.
Lander, with support from New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), attacked the incumbent from the left. The former comptroller particularly criticized him for his support for Israel amid the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza.
Both Lander and Goldman are Jewish.

I don’t see how this is any kind of a victory.
Time to rub it in! Beat him like a drum! To think that the Justice Department is going to ‘investigate’. Really? Light a fire under the coffee shops’ ass. Pot meet kettle. This is hilarious.

Goldman was one of the “designated liars”. It’s just nice to see him gone.
It’s a personal victory for President Trump and that, apparently, is all that matters.

Just a wild guess, but I doubt the voters there kicked Goldman because of how he treated Trump. I can’t see how Lander is going to be an improvement, since he attacked Goldman from the left (!!!) and appealed to the Hamas wing of the Democrat Party. This is New York City we are talking about, and you can’t have any kind of positive expectations.

Be careful what you celebrate Mr. President, Goldman’s replacement was endorsed by Mamdani. This tells us that Lander is a Jew-hating, Hamas supporting Communist. Unfortunately this is a very safe Democrat district and we will be saddled with another one whose ideology is like Rashida Tlaib’s and Ilan Omar.
Goldman was a toad.
