In a report from The Bulwark on Republican sentiment on soaring gas prices…
Cornyn, R-TX, said the hike in gas is a "small price to pay" to continue the war.
"If the American people understood," Cornyn said, "they would certainly agree."
“After 40 years in public office, John Cornyn still doesn’t understand that working Texans are drowning because DC politicians like him are driving up the cost of everything," said Talarico campaign spokesperson J.T. Ennis in a news release…
Cornyn is set to face Attorney General Ken Paxton in a May 26 runoff. The winner of that contest will face Talarico in the November 3 General Election.

I understand that I paid over $100 to fill my car yesterday.
I understand that we have been lied to about every single intervention in the middle east including the one where we over through A western style Democracy in Iran
Cornyn sounds like he’d be right at home here on FR.
Dem propaganda for the lib.
Cornyn is going to lose the primary anyway .
👍👍
“Cornyn sounds like he’d be right at home here on FR.”
But you certainly never do.
And when are people ever going to stop thinking that every headline they read was written by a divine personage?
There is nothing cornyn can say that will any heat to anything ... other than toast.
...because cornyn is toast.
that will bring heat to anything
The gas problem under Biden was created by Biden himself.
Right.
Paxton’s got my vote later this month. Period, end of story.
DC and the Epstein class is deeply out of touch. He’s so out of touch that he doesn’t know to think it but, realize he shouldn’t say it out loud. I paid my 60 dollar Israeli tax today. A solid extra 2 bucks a gallon just for NetanYahoo
Yahoo? Get real.
Its Yahoo news. DemocRAT party story.
Tallifaggotrico is doa on Election Day.
Ha! Algore drives electric. But he is stupid enough to take his electric car to a gas station and fork over 100 bucks.
Cornyn is a nominal conservative. This is for re-election purposes. He is not MAGA. I have no idea what his true beliefs are.
Paxton is a flawed man in his personal life. He is a PIT BULL in defense of conservative values, Texas, Constitution and our president.
I am voting for the flawed man. I am as flawed as he.
It’s always DA JOOS with you.
Another Fuentes liberal slithered in.

Gas was close to $5.50 a gallon near me yesterday. $150 to fill up the Canyonero. It’s still worth it to win the war against Iran, but I know plenty of people who feel otherwise.
Sacajaweau, I agree with Cornyn, too. He’s not always wrong - just squishy, If I lived in Texas, I’d still vote for Abott.
This.
“I am voting for the flawed man. I am as flawed as he.”
Good to know. I grow weary with idiots reminding us all that Trump is not a perfect person, as if they are themselves.
