“We did talk about the Epstein files and he was extremely angry at me that I signed the discharge petition to release the files,” Greene told CBS News in a “60 Minutes” interview that is set to air on Sunday. “I fully believe those women deserve everything they’re asking. They’re asking for it to come out. They deserve it.”
“He was furious with me. He said it was going to hurt people,” she added, referencing the president’s comments about the release of the files.
Trump originally indicated during his presidential campaign that he supported releasing the Epstein files, but reversed his stance after entering office.
He originally directed House Republicans to not sign on to a discharge petition forcing a House vote on the files, but several Republicans — including Greene and Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) — broke from the party to add their signatures.
As Trump faced the possibility of more Republicans voting for the files’ release, he once again reversed course and directed House GOP members to support a bill directing the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release all its files related to Epstein.
Trump’s relationship with Greene has soured considerably over the course of the last year as the Georgia Republican has increasingly criticized the administration.
Her calls for the Epstein files’ release when the president was opposed to it and her pushback against Trump’s messaging about the economy has sparked animosity between the two politicians.
Trump called Greene’s resignation, which came a week after he pulled support for her, “great news for the country.” Greene has also faced criticism from fellow House Republicans, who have most recently taken aim at her for missing all House votes this week after her sudden resignation announcement.

“She’s just waiting for retirement to kick in”
She’s just waiting for PENSION MONEY AND FREE HEALTHCARE to kick in.
He did mention releasing the “slush fund” list of those who are using our tax money to pay off the women (maybe some men, too) after illicit relationships.
THAT is what I care about more than Epstein.
“She’s so FOS, a new CNN darling.”
We cut off cable several months ago and went to streaming. On Saturday, we discovered that we can’t get CNN unless we PAY FOR IT ... LOL! As if... as if we’d subscribe to that.
Members of the House of Representatives must be elected by the People. There are no “replacements” and no interim appointments.
Since special elections cost money, States will often leave seats vacant until the next November election cycle.
Which nation?
They’re probably the same ones who crucified Sidney Powell after the 2020 election, and called her a nut job, attention whore, and worse. We learned last week that she was 100% correct. Those FReepers easily and quickly sided with Biden and his media liars. Feckless.
Now they think that MTG is to be admired for selling out. She’s beyond attention whore; “whore” will suffice.
Speaking of badmouthing PDJT all over media, WTH is going on with John Bolton? Already he’s down the DOJ Memory Hole and has been forgotten. They know that we’ll forget and just move on — because we always do. He will skate
“She didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of winning a Senate primary.”
And Trump showed her the evidence of that. Could be that’s why she turned on him, i.e., “shooting the messenger”
Netanyahu is not afraid to bring up Epstein when it comes to calling out his rival Ehud Barak. He did it during the 2019 elections, and he did it again last month:

Attention whore she is.
When pedophiles go to prison is when there’s justice although a bullet to the head would be better.
On “leave” and 2nd hand accusations in a memoir isn’t justice. Only thing Prince Andrew got was a title removed and a new place to live.
Yes, I think that’s very likely.
But anyone who has been around GA politics knows this. She just didn’t like that she wasn’t getting Trump’s endorsement. Trump is likely being more careful with his endorsements here after Herschel Walker failed to beat Warnock.
