It’s a lot of factors but:

1) GOP doesn’t do a good job of explaining, leading the narrative re: how immigration factors into making things less affordable especially housing.

2) Trump initiated tariffs with good intentions but probably not the best timing…given how far gone the context already is. Consumers were too directly affected.

Biden didn’t have to keep pumping out trillions of dollars AND importing millions of leeches.

“filibuster”

Either the filibuster should be made part of the Constitution, or it should be eliminated and all the legislation Trump needs to do a proper job should be enacted.

Drop a bill in the hoppers proposing a filibuster constitutional amendment be sent to the states with a two-month limit for ratification. Let’s see what the Democrats do.

This is a made-in-the media topic.

All the while Biden’s borrowing was pushing up inflation, all the way to 9%, the media never had an “affordability crisis”.

The federal debt is ~$400,000/American citizen full-time worker.

What do you think is ‘affordable’ when it comes to a house, Mr. & Mrs. Young?

$300,000, tops!

The $300,000 isn’t enough to secure Mr. & Mrs. Young’s $800,000 share of the federal debt.

You might say there’s stock market value to secure the federal debt. That would need to be about $500,000 for Mr. & Mrs. Young and their kiddies. That’s $500,000 after state and federal corporate tax is paid. Yup, $500,000 profit, after tax, just from one American citizen family.

What about the migrants? They can bolt.

Are Ellen and her ‘wife’ back in Montecito? Rachel Reeves made the English air chillier.

Well it’s the world we’re living in and it’s the reality GOP has to operate in. The Dems have the media, and GOP does not.

And right now the alternative media space is not in good shape. It is more focused on infighting than touting Trump’s agenda.

“people with health spending in the top 1% had average spending of $166,980 per year”

[That’s not going to be covered by $6,000 put into an HSA for 2026.]

I find taxes from all the levels of government to be unaffordable.

“I blame the GOP congress.... “

Clearly the most guilty part of Government.

You need to hang out more in X and TikTok.

That is where MAGA folks are posting.

Trump used X and TikTok to campaign in 2024.

Legacy media is irrelevant over there.

It’s a shame that NYC had zero real conservative options. Too many major spaces in the country are like that…

Drop in the bucket from the trillions the trump admin pumped out, and the gop didn't impeach biden on his millions of imported leaches. If the gop really cared they would have done something, they didn't. Admin still isn't going after the covid fraud, ya can easily see it with the addresses and homes bought.

The Democrats locked in massive ObamaCare “covid” subsidies to hide the massive expansion of government funded health care costs to millions of non paying illegal aliens and welfare recipients.

The expiration of these subsidies are going to skyrocket the premium prices for paying enrollees. Not sure how Trump intends to deal with this
