Republicans can’t sugarcoat their losses on abortion rights anymore
Vox ^ | Nov 8, 2023 | Rachel M. Cohen@rmc031

Even before Tuesday’s elections, many progressives insisted the question of whether protecting abortion rights wins elections was already asked and answered. Democrats made abortion rights the centerpiece of their campaign advertising during the 2022 midterms, a cycle where Democrats outperformed expectations, kept control of the US Senate, and staved off a red wave. Polls last year also found abortion rights to be a significantly motivating issue for both independent and Democratic voters.

Abortion rights ballot measures won in all six states where they appeared in 2022, including states like Montana, Kentucky, and Kansas that otherwise elected Republican candidates.

Are you really that low IQ?

Mod, sorry to interrupt. Please read posts 88 and 89 this thread. I always thought Free Republic was staunchly pro-life?

Yeah, very aware of this red-dot racist troll (who thinks that the red-dots are superior to anyone NOT red-dot).

I used to have bookmarks to most of his racist rants (lost them and back-up from system crash 🤬. )

I guess the admin are concerned about giving him a heart attack if he is zotted.. no other explanation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Please read my post #91. It makes clear why I am the most pro-life person on planet BY ACTION, not rhetoric.

My point is about politics, and wining elections. Because losing elections to democrats hinders, not helps, pro-life agenda.

Since you are so pro-life, what have you and your (claimed) $23 million net worth done to stop abortion?

For that matter, India has had legal abortion since 1971 (even before the false rape case Roe v. Wade).

What have you done to stop abortions over in India?

Or are you just one of those RINOS who says...

“I am PERSONALLY opposed to abortion, BUT...”

We’ve heard that song for almost 50 years before The Donald.

NOW DO DONALD TRUMP.

DID YOU VOTE FOR TRUMP IN 2016 and/or 2020?

ARE YOU VOTING FOR TRUMP IN 2024?

HOW MUCH OF YOUR (SELF-REPORTED) $23 million net worth are you donating to get pro-life candidates into office, or to re-elect Donald Trump?

So you’re in favor of the barbaric slaughter of babies by chemically burning them alive, ripping them apart limb from limb while still alive, or puncturing their skulls and sucking their brains out, while still alive?

And you consider compromising with democrats to give them what they want *winning* an election?

Voting to support democrat polices just labeled as republican is *winning* nothing. It’s just handing them what they want.

Abortion on the ballot is generally the GOP's election kryptonite.

It's a loser. As simple as that.

What escapes the women hating contingent here on FR is that plenty of men also vote democrat and support abortions because they don’t want to support the children they sired.

There are countless accounts of women who want to keep their babies and are forced into abortions by boyfriends, fathers, and sometimes husbands.

But that won’t stop the *blame women for every evil in the world* group that doesn’t recognize human history when the vast majority of it happened under male dominated regimes where women were property and had no rights.

I am most pro-life person on planet by actual behavior. Me and my wife skipped amnio test because we were never going to abort even a down’s syndrome baby. I was 51 and my wife was 40 when she got pregnant. First baby for both of us. We were thrilled of the miracle of new life.

I am for no abortions allowed if the baby can survive outside of mother’s womb. Before that, it is the mother’s decision along with the biological father. I do not impose my religious beliefs on others.

Entropy is a dot-not-feather.

He is by no means a Christian.

He also pushes the clot shots as well as trashing pro-lifers.
