Drew McKissick Defeats Pro-Trump Lawyer Lin Wood in Race for Head of South Carolina GOP

Attorney Lin Wood failed in his bid to chair the South Carolina Republican Party, losing to incumbent Drew McKissick.
The chairman won a third term with 68 percent of the vote. Wood drew the second-most votes, 239 to McKissick’s 582, the state GOP said on Saturday.
The two other challengers received just 37 votes combined.
“Thanks to the grassroots activists across the state, the SCGOP is stronger than it’s ever been,” McKissick said in a statement. “We’ve proven we have a winning coalition of conservatives who are committed to beating Democrats, and I’m honored they’ve chosen to reelect me to lead that fight.”
Wood congratulated McKissick but said the win came “in an establishment created election.”
“I won We The People. Drew will learn in time that ALL the power belongs to We The People,” he wrote on Telegram.
Earlier Saturday, Wood claimed that McKissick was going to cheat and that if he won, he would “be a Fake Chairman” like President Joe Biden “is a Fake President!”
Wood, like former President Donald Trump, maintains that the 2020 election was rife with fraud and that Trump actually won. Biden was certified the winner by states and then, on Jan. 6, Congress.
Wood has said he moved from Georgia to South Carolina in 2020 before launching his bid to unseat McKissick.
Wood said in an earlier statement that he was trying to oust McKissick after the chairman removed the person in charge of Horry County’s Republican Party and installed a different person.
Trump, though, endorsed McKissick, passing over Wood despite the attorney filing several post-election lawsuits with goal of overturning results in Trump’s favor.
Trump cited the South Carolina GOP’s success in 2020, with victories on the state and federal level, and said McKissick “fought all the way to the Supreme Court to defend our voting laws—and WON.”

Lin Wood did not cost two seats in Georgia. He may have ran his mouth but he was not responsible for any of that.
Blame lies squarely on: illegal Consent Decree signed by SOS, absolutely no one in state government leadership doing anything about the fraud from November, and Mail In Voting-Stacy Abrams.
Folks in Georgia, after seeing what happened in November were fed up. Pure and simple.
Wood was a distraction. Nothing more.

Given the margins it would have only taken a very small percentage of voters to have listened to his calls to boycott to swing the results to the Dems.

Next, Wood will probably accuse McKissick of being a baby-eating, satan worshiping, inter-dimensional pedophile.
And he’ll probably continue to tell Republican voters to stay home and “send a message”.

Yep, changed my life - went from stable, happy, American, to moving out of my house (in progress), to then plotting out which country to move to. Only thing slowing it down somewhat is Joe Manchin, although knowing the Dems, they’ll eventually come up with a way to deal with him too.

Maybe. Maybe not.
When I voted in the runoffs, I did so knowing that my vote didn’t count for anything and that Abrams, with her sister and helpful aides in the Governors office-Lt Gov-SOS-AG- state House and Senate, had been able to rig those as well.
David Perdue loses 32,000 votes in seconds ..... you can’t lose votes
https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=david+perdue+loses+votes+on+tv&docid=608001789631016984&mid=6561C6CA13470A10BE556561C6CA13470A10BE55&view=detail&FORM=VIRE
I was never much of a fan of Perdue. Another rich guy, with a family history in the state, buying his way it, but he ended up surprising me.
Loeffler and her husband bought her the other Senate seat, pure and simple, but she was loyal to the President, not that she had much of a choice. I’m sure she, her husband and his buddies made lots of money off her insider knowledge for the short time she was there.
But neither were very vocal about what happened in November and that turned a few folks off.
Why did the state allow 2 months before the run-off? The machines were still in place from the November election and the 4 main candidates were running in the runoff. There were no surprises. I realize you can’t have it the next day, but absolutely no reason to wait 60 days. And what did we end up having, the Left telling Democrats to move to Georgia to vote just so they could vote in the runoff.
https://thefederalist.com/2020/11/11/democrats-openly-urge-people-to-commit-voter-fraud-by-temporarily-moving-to-georgia/
Folks in Georgia were fed up, knowing that our elected representatives in the Capitol weren’t going to do anything and the whole thing was rigged. It was no secret.
So:
- knowing that the State wasn’t going to challenge Abrams, her sister or (as CornPop stated) the largest fraud network in history
-a Governor, Lt Gov, SOS, AG, state House and Senate(there may have been a very small handful that got vocal but it wasn’t much), who said everything was on the up and up when we knew it wasn’t
- learning that a pipe bursting was a lie and the counting continued
- Ruby Freeman on video running the same ballots through the machines, over and over, and not EVER being called in to account for what she and others did
- a Fulton County election supervisor stating, in a televised interview, that over 90% of the ballots are being adjudicated in another room, in another building, where an unknown panel of people will decide on Voter Intent.
Anyone who thinks that runoff election was going to be won by the incumbents needs to have their heads examined.
Were the results close? Yeah, so. They were as close Abrams, her sister, Dominion, Soros and whoever else wanted them to be.

Both Loeffler and Perdue voted to certify the stolen election after doing exactly nothing to stop our disenfranchisement. Frankly, they deserved to lose for violating their oath of office.

He’s got a long string of behavior that is.....nutty would be the best term. His former law partners are suing him for some of the crazy decisions he made. Others who worked with him like Robert Barnes on the Covington Kids lawsuit also say he’s nuts.

Yes, I’ve seen the former law partners comp!ain’t. I’ve also read documentation where each of these individuals says or rather admits that Wood is stable mentally. Why would they they speak out of both sides of their mouths? What do they have to gain? I’ve also listened to the Mercer Law School Dean Cathy Cox phone call that was taped where she engaged in very questionable behavior, behavior that bordered on slander against Lin Wood. Woods response to her on that call was measured and rational. Be kind of difficult for him to do so if he were nuts even for a veteran lawyer. He has also managed to put together quite a lifestyle of charitable organizations including equine and others - and what I find admirable is he’s come back to God and the church. Doesnt sound like nuts to me. So when I read stuff, I do a double take and ask a lot of questions.
Look, I don’t know the man, and I know nothing about the Covington kids case. Could there be something there? Anybody’s guess. What I do know and what I am confident of is that Certain people will say or do anything to harm another if it will elevate them. As a a victim of that type of behavior, its easy to look at what’s happening to Wood with a jaded eye.
Folks will have to make up their own minds on what they wish to believe I guess.
