Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced that the Sunshine State won’t have any part in issuing vaccine passports, calling it a “bad idea.”
“I just want to make very clear in Florida, we are not doing any vaccine passports,” DeSantis said. “All those experts said that it was a bad idea. I think it’s a bad idea and so that will not happen.”
The Republican Governor added that people are free to choose their path when it comes to the vaccine, “but under no circumstances will the state be asking you to show proof of vaccination.”

There’s been a lot of chatter about vaccine passports being required to travel. Will the feds require a vaccine passport to get on an airplane?
If you get the Moderna, they can just scan your chip like a dog at the veterinarian.
I don’t understand the point of this “passport.” If you get the vaccine, you get a CDC card vaccination record. Why another document?
You don’t need one to cross our southern border.
I have had both shots and was not issued a “card”.

IDK, but it’s not out of the question that airlines might, although they’re likely to face lawsuits over them if they do including ADA challenges (some people simply can’t be vaccinated because of medical conditions).
Also, it’s not impossible that we’ll see some countries adopt a vaccine requirement, or possibly a quarantine in lieu of vaccine system. If so, there’s nothing we can do about that. Their countries, their rules, as idiotic as they may be.
If the feds do flex their muscle on airlines, I’d also look for them to act similarly on cruise ships embarking from or arriving/stopping in the US.

And, various shots and vaccines have been required to travel to various places for decades.
Other places it is “recommended” for example, if you travel to China, it is a really, really good idea to have your hepatitis and TB shots up-to-date.
There is no chip in the moderna. Why even tell such a bald face lie?

Why would you go to a third world country?
Because Nepal is a fascinating country with the Himalayas as an amazing backdrop. Because Thailand is a beautiful country with one of the world’s best cuisines. Because Angkor Wat is one of the world’s most impressive archeological sites. Mexico is a very relaxing place to vacation with very interesting sites to take in. Lots more places I’d like to visit.
