tearjerker, gotta watch - 2.21 minutes
20 years for 50 grams of cocaine that is insane
you are very welcome.
But how long will he stay alive on the street?
Won a belt 20 years ago.
40 isn’t Impossible to make a comeback.
Difficult, not impossible.
As an ex boxer, I can say your speed goes first, but you can get brutally stronger and rely on blunt force trauma.
Even if he has 3 or 4 years to make a few bucks, that would be great.
RandFan, I know as a libertarian this would be big news to you so I included you on the post.
There but for the Grace of God I could have done 5 or 10 for some things I did in my stupid and crazy 20s.
I wish him the best.
ciao guys
If he goes right back to the gym like he plans on and trying a comeback...hopefully a long time.
Like I said in another post, 40 is difficult but not impossible.
Maybe he can add another belt.
God knows he’s got the motivation now.
He was convicted of conspiracy but what else did he actually do? Sometimes the street has a long memory.
I nearly shed a tear when I heard this guys story.
Trump is truly a compassionate man.
Now all the rest of these non-violent lifers need the same: clemency.
I believe under the First Step Act (which Rand help pass and Trump signed) there is a process to allow them to do this but is is slow and doesn’t apply to everyone.
This kind of criminal justice reform is why Trump will get a record share of the Black vote for the GOP.
Yes.
Makes one tear up.
Here is wishing him and his son and his loved ones all the best.
Difficult, not impossible.”
How about Mike Tyson?
At 53-54 he is still impressive
If he couldn’t beat Holyfield or Lennox way back..I don’t think he can mount a comeback.
Man he hits hard though, you’re right.
But his reach and height aren’t the best and to go in like he used to, you need mad leg speed.
And these guys are HUGE today...Fury and some other guys.
But you know I’ll watch :)
Jones Jr. shouldn’t be doing this exhibition against Iron Mike.
Mike plays for keeps.
And Jones hits nowhere as hard.
George Foreman staged a comeback after he was 40 and still became champion again.
Going to take a lot of bard work though.
>Going to take a lot of bard work though.
“The Eye of the Tiger”?
Hey is your name from the boxer? Were you a fan? :)
I can tell you that I didn’t get in the ring again after maybe 26 or a little older.
I started hitting the bag again at 37 and I was hitting it HARD.
I thought about boxing again...but then I remembered the getting hit back part :)
And how ferociously fast the guys were compared to me a decade ago..
It’s doable..but Really Hard.
George went with brute force.
I think the easiest class to come back to at an older age is heavyweight...where brute strength counts the most.
I always thought Mike had bit of a fragile psyche back in the day and had case of victory disease.
I agree Jones stands a good chance of getting hurt real bad.
This is more of a publicity stunt rather than a “comeback”
But Mike said he already plans on going for the kill. This may be a disaster. and he does have a delicate psyche and a lot of issues.
And I think Tyson fury and a few of the other top guys would just be too big with too long of a reach and some of these guys take incredible punches.
53?
Maybe baseball :-)
It’s just not worth it.
People now complain about the 94 crime bill but the black community and congresscritters were all for it at the time.
“20 years for 50 grams of cocaine that is insane”
5 kilos, if this is correct:
