Mark Levin: Biden Tried Using ‘Same Stunts’ He Used On Paul Ryan In 2012. Trump Made Sure It Didn’t Work.
The Daily Wire ^ | 9/30/2020 | Hank Berrien

Posted on 09/30/2020 9:10:35 AM PDT by Zenyatta

On Wednesday, Fox News host Mark Levin sounded off on Facebook regarding Tuesday’s presidential debate, pointing out that former Vice President Joe Biden assayed using the same gestures against President Trump that he used against 2012 GOP vice-presidential candidate Paul Ryan, but Trump “would have none of it.”

Levin recalled the vice-presidential debate between Biden and Ryan, in which Ryan ignored Biden’s histrionics and eschewed harshly attacking him, writing, “Biden pulled the same stunts on the president as he pulled on Paul Ryan eight years earlier, but Trump would have none of it. Biden was making faces, rolling his eyes, interrupting the president with laughs and jabs, and was long-winded, which the moderator allowed to a ridiculous level.”

Question: why does the GOP, or any conservative candidate, continue to agree to the formats and moderators of the corrupt mainstream media if everyone knows in advance they will be biased???

That strategy was perfect dealing with the likes of Ryan but a disaster dealing with the likes of Trump. It’s the equivalent of running full speed into a combine harvester. You’re going to get shredded.

Biden’s handler’s must have anticipated that, but in the end, particularly when he has to be spontaneous, Joe only knows how to be Joe.

When Biden and Ryan had a debate, it was one Democrat debating another Democrat.

Because debates are free media, and the alternative is no debates (i.e. no free media). Trump got across his major points, which are that the Democrats are the party of looters and arsonists and that Russia routed a $3.5m bribe to Biden through his son, Hunter.

I remember yelling at the TV when Ryan didn’t fire right back after Biden called his statements “malarkey.”

1921: the last year angry white Democrats burned down a black community

2020: the year angry white Democrats resumed burning down black communities

... only this time the schmucks claim they’re helping.

99 years of “progress” among progressives.

Paul Ryan did his job. He was supposed to lose to that brain dead hack, so he did. That year the GOP was the designated loser. The uniparty always has a plan and what we see is just theater performance ... until Trump showed up.

I think the reason is because the Filthocrat Party candidates would never debate at all if they didn’t know the “moderator” would be their cheerleader. Anyone other than a network propagandist would be labeled an “ultra right-wing extremist” and how could they possibly sully themselves accepting that. Cowardly pukes.

That’s giving Ryan credit where credit isn’t due. He was in the VP slot because he wanted a shot at the presidency. He wanted to beat Biden. But he lacked the political antenna to see that he was losing the debate, and losing badly. Because debates aren’t about policy - they’re about who can lie most convincingly in a relaxed and confident manner. Biden was leagues ahead in that respect. In a just world, that would mean he not only lost the debate in the sense of having voters turn against the Obama campaign, but was dropped from the ticket due to the sheer egregiousness of his deceit, ending his political career right there and then. Instead, he got an opportunity to be the oldest candidate to win the White House ever.

Paul Ryan is an autistic personality who could only win inside his district. The tax cut he designed cost the GOP its House majority. He’s a freak of nature, a guy with no political instincts whatsoever who became Speaker because he was the most inoffensive guy running for the spot. And it was because of this lack of political instincts that he’s no longer even Minority Leader. He jumped before he was pushed.

As an aside, Trump reminds me of a character in Isaac Asimov's 'Foundation' stories.

Long story short, the galactic republic was crumbling and a scientist set up a foundation of scientists and historians on some remote moon to rebuild society after it collapsed. He himself created a field he called psycho-history where he predicted future events with uncanny accuracy by using a strong understanding of how human beings in large groups react to events and projecting forward from event to event.

It all worked perfectly, for generations the secret foundation was secretly pulling strings behind the scenes guided by their all-knowing plan. Then suddenly a guy they called 'The Mule' came on the scene. He didn't follow any of the patterns they had laid out, a real wild card. Turns out he was a mutation but regardless, this one guy who was unpredictable and had his own plan made the foundation irrelevant and changed the path of the galaxy totally from what they had planned.

Like I said, Trump is 'the Mule'.

Answer: Because the alternative is not to attend any debates since our media is structurally leftist...

This is the only complaint I have about last night’s debate:

Why did the moderator allow the politician Chris Wallace to constantly interrupt his political opponent throughout the debate? If I were moderating last night’s debate, I would have emphatically told Chris Wallace: “Mr. Wallace, you must stop repeatedly interrupting your political opponent and let him answer the question. I must emphatically remind you that you and your Fox News team agreed beforehand to allow your political opponent to answer questions without you incessantly interrupting him throughout the entire debate!”

The democrats are always doing the same old empty pander play for votes.

Look at Pelosi, rainbow watch band, African scarves, kneeling— you name it and that party will pander for a vote. (whores)

The most laughable moment was when Joe tried to put on a deeply empathetic face, stare into the cameras, and start his practiced speech of empty chairs across the table.

He was devoid of anything real, it was so fake, he took that face off and soaked it in efferdent that night.

I may not always like Trump’s bold ways but I never doubt his sincerity.

Trump believes what he says and that means something, especially nowadays.

Personally I'd have never agreed to Wallace. I'd rather have Candy Crowley than Wallace.

Here's the single moment that, for me, disqualified him from ever hosting a debate. In 2016 during the debate he moderated between Trump and Clinton Wallace made a little speech about how accepting results of election was the cornerstone of the republic (i.e. he actually took a position, one that happened to be identical to the democrat talking point of the time) and then asked Trump if he'd honor the results of the election. Obviously the implication was 'Trump you will lose, what will you do next?' Outrageous that he even would ask that but then he never followed up and asked the same thing to Hillary even to present a thin veil of fairmess.

We know how it played out. Wallace's desired outcome didn't come to pass, Trump won and Hillary refuses to this day to accept the outcome of the election but sadly we have no tape of her pledging to respect the outcome because Wallace wasn't there to pin Hillary down, just Trump.

Hack DNC operative.
