School Bans Thin Blue Line Flag Flown In Honor Of Student’s Fallen Police Officer Father

A high school in Florida has banned its football team from flying the “Thin Blue Line” flag, deeming it inappropriate, after the athletes flew the pro-police flags on the field to honor one student’s dead police officer father.

A “racist” flag?: Fletcher High School’s football team, the Fletcher Senators, had flown the flag during 11 games of the 2019 season and flew it again during a game last week.

The team flew the flag to honor former Jacksonville Beach police officer Cpl. Andy Lavender who died last August. His son, Caelan, is an offensive lineman for the team.

I may be very wrong but I believe that the amount of boiling, silent rage that normal middle class Americans feel about the concocted BLM insurgency, the cancel culture, and the bogus narrative that normal white people are racists and have to give up their white privilege is going to appear as a surprise in Nov, certainly for DJT and perhaps for the GOP overall. Actually, I don’t think high school or college athletics should be involved with politics whatsoever. So, if they ban other political flags consistently, then I’m OK with that. But if they allow BLM and Antifa and other political flags while banning the Blue Lives Matter flag, then I’m outraged.
