2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden screwed up the Pledge of Allegiance Monday during a campaign speech in Wisconsin.
“I pledge allegiance to the United States of America, one nation, indivisible, under God, for real,” Biden said.
Biden’s Monday slip-up marks the second campaign gaffe this week after the former vice president wrongly claimed 200 million had perished from the novel Wuhan coronavirus, when in fact at the time of the address the number of Americans lost from the virus was nearly 200,000.

Back in Joes childhood the Pledge would be one of the first things that a child would be required to memorize, other than, for a Catholic like Joe, his prayers.
You just don’t muff something like the Pledge that you have know since first grade. At least not that badly.

Watching the clip, I don’t think he was “reciting” the pledged. He made reference to it with an emphasis on “united”. I think he was basically saying he believes in the pledge, but that he did not set out to recite it.

I hate the demented pervert as much as anyone, but this seems out of context. I would like to see the few seconds leading up to and following that excerpt. It sounds like commentary rather than a rote pledge. If we stoop to trickery, then we damage the integrity of our cause.
Biden never has pledged allegiance to the United States of America. China, Ukraine, Iran etc. Anyone with a buck to spare.
