A statue of Jesus Christ at a cathedral in El Paso, Texas, was vandalized and decapitated on Tuesday. Police have identified and arrested the suspect in the attack.
The story: The Catholic Diocese of El Paso announced on Instagram Tuesday that a suspect came into St. Patrick Cathedrals sanctuary and destroyed the nearly 90-year-old statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, that was standing behind the main altar.
The statue was estimated to be worth $25,000.

Didn’t I see this in a movie?.....................
Evil all the day long
Play this far and wide.
This should be a talking point with Hispanics
Do these vandals not know that God is watching? They may not get their punishment in this world. Punishment is waiting for them in the afterlife.
Fwiw, I truly HOPE that the CRIMINAL is put into “gen op”, i.e., “general population”, where some devoutly RC inmate will “take proper care of him”.
(IF he was jailed here in San Antonio, “he would not have a good time”.)

Suspect arrest: Police said in a Wednesday statement that they have arrested Isaiah Cantrell, 30, in connection with the vandalism. Cantrell was charged with criminal mischief and possession of marijuana and was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a $20,500 bond.
Why? According to a court affidavit, police said Cantrell told them the skin color of the statue was the wrong color and that Jesus was Jewish and therefore should be a darker skin color, ABC-7 reported.
As we see, Abraham's children come in all colors. My pastor urged us to consider that everyone sees Jesus in their own image (for good or bad).
Jesus was neither a Viking nor an African warrior.
He is us and we are made in the image of the Father.
No big deal for Jesus, but a holy war if the Mother Mary!
SA is my hometown, and I agree with your statement.
Isaiah Cantrell
