Two high school students in Morrow, Ohio, have been suspended from the football team after flying flags during a game in support of first responders on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
The story: Brady Williams and Jared Bentley, players for the Little Miami High School football team, carried Thin Blue Line and Thin Red Line flags when they appeared on the field for the game, which took place on Sep. 11, the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. They previously told the school that they planned to fly the flags to show their support for fallen police officers and firefighters but the school rejected their request.
The school also warned the students that there would be consequences if they disobeyed the order. Williams and Bentley did it anyway.

I lost 3 friends in the towers. I watched it closely. Spoke with my cousin, an FDNY firefighter like our grandfather. I know people who ran away from the towers and men who ran towards the towers. They are not in the same group. The ones who ran away were not necessarily not courageous. Many had priorities, responsibilities. But the ones who ran towards the towers were necessarily all courageous
To get suspended for honoring them, whoever is trying to ruin virtue like that for kids... parents better fix this. Now.
Everyone involved in suspending him should be FIRED.

So what. It’s in the national interest to educate our youth.
Has nothing to do with whether you have children or not.
What they are being taught is not in the National Interest. So sad.
Not for nothing....but parents rule at this age....
President Trump won that county by nearly 40%. People, local elections really do matter ... a lot. What this AD and board did is not what the people of that county want.
educate being the operative word. Nowadays they indoctrinate. No one with any sense wants their tax m9ney going to that.
