Burned-out stores, a torched parking lot and National Guardsmen walking the streets - these are the scenes of Kenosha that Donald Trump will use as the backdrop for a campaign event as he visits Wisconsin today.
The president is expected to hammer home his 'law and order' campaign message when he arrives around 1pm EST, meeting with members of local law enforcement and surveying damage caused by three days of rioting sparked by the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
While the city is still counting the cost of the disturbance, the mayor has requested $30million in state aid to help repair the damage.
Trump insisted on coming to the state despite the objections of both Democratic governor Tony Evers and city mayor John Antaramian, amid 'concerns' that his presence will set back efforts to restore calm.
Large parts of Kenosha's uptown neighborhood - where many of the city's black and Hispanic residents live - were damaged or destroyed by rioters between August 23, the day of Blake's shooting, and August 25, when two protesters were shot dead.

I’m a little disappointed that this article, at least in the caption to a picture, says that the Kenosha incident involved the cops shooting an “unarmed” black man. He was not unarmed at all — he had a knife that the cops knew about and told him to drop, and which he refused to drop. If he had not had a weapon, or had put it down when confronted by the police, he wouldn’t be in the hospital right now. (Of course, he probably would be, or certainly would have been, in jail, because he had at least one felony warrant outstanding. But i digress.)

You should also go do a walk of his beloved Manhattan with all the boarded up buildings everywhere
The gall of Democrats to try to turn this around and say that this is trumps America and it’s trumps fault that all these riots are happening in democratic cities shows the depravity of the satan worshipers in their ability to adhere to the father of lies!

They can start their estimate by reducing the value of their undamaged real estate within the city limits by about 50% I would think.
In fact, since that probably dwarfs the area actually damaged, just reduce the value of everything within the city limits by 50%.
