Former Vice President Joe Biden remarked in an interview released Thursday that “unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community.”
Biden was addressing the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) Joint Virtual Convention. Portions of the interview were aired Wednesday, and the full video was streamed Thursday.
“I’m going to look at every single country in the world … this guy [President Donald Trump] is sending them back,” Biden said, promising to extend the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) program on his first day in office — one of several such first-day promises Biden has made.
Garcia-Navarro followed up, asking whether Biden would attempt to restore the Obama-Biden administration’s policy of improving relations with communist Cuba.
“Yes,” he said.
Biden then went on to add:
“And by the way, w hat you all know, but most people don’t know, unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community, with incredibly different attitudes about different things … it’s a very diverse community.”

Coincidentally, the Biden campaign released an ad Thursday aimed at black voters that likened President Trump to the “violent racists” of the Jim Crow past.

I have almost no faith in Americans. I think most of the blacks who would vote Biden will just dismiss this, because he’s promising a sweet deal for them. (A deal which will never materialize).
Tell that about an Ethiopian in front of a Somali, or Ghanan. They will educate you quickly.
They might “look alike” to Joe, but they are a different as a PR and a Costa Rican.
Here's the question. If a Latino woman and an African-American man ( or a African-American woman and a Latino man) have a child, is the child Latino or African-American?

I remember that derogatory line from the 1950s. A woman I worked with once told me people she never met would start talking with her in the elevator, thinking she was another of the black women at work---and they couldn't tell the difference. Must have been upsetting.
Want to bet against Biden saying that "look alike" line any day now? Maybe he'll say to Bass "I would have chosen you but you don't have much experience, Stacey."

The math. (Wiki, sorry!) 7.8 billion on the planet. There are 4.6 billion people in Asia, 1.3 billion in Africa, 750 million in Europe, 565 million in North America, 427 million in South America and 42 million in “Oceania”.
Based on this, there is a far, far higher likelihood of diversity among Asians and Africans (more of them, unless Joe thinks all Asians, for example, are all alike!), than Europeans, North and South Americans.

Trump has a large Black and Hispanic vote coming. And I will repeat what I said in 2016: many Hispanic males identify with Trump! They will vote for him again. They have businesses, they are macho and they are making money here. They do not respect beta males and certainly will not vote for Biden. Marion county is heavily Hispanic and went to Trump in 2016. Marion county is the home of the state capital in Salem.

Had Biden self-destructed early on - BERNIE SANDERS would be the Dem Nominee and Trump would be on cruise control to a landslide.
Biden was the "safe" candidate to prevent this from happening.
I am beginning to think the Dems will dump Biden immediately after the Convention in a tearful announcement of Alzheimer's or Dementia.
At that point, his VP nominee automatically becomes the Presidential Candidate - and the Dems have their handpicked FIRST EVER African-American FEMALE Presidential Candidate.
