I’ve done plenty of thinking. The audience for debates is the already decided. Undecideds find them (rightly) boring and don’t watch. They’re dog and pony shows, they’re boring, they’re stupid, they’re a waste of time.
All those election cycles past when the Democrat candidate was invariably hailed by the Slimes as a statesman of the highest order due to masterful performance in said debate!
Why Barack Obama literally walked on water and parted oceans with his stately rhetoric, according to the Slimes. Al Gore was dignified and commanding. Why Bill Clinton was the smartest man on earth and super cool as well!
Suddenly, now that they are stuck with a total drooling imbecile for a candidate, these debates are now a poor test for presidential leadership!
