This wailing is a blatant signal that the left and their supporters, the MSM, know that Biden will be shown to be a vegetable for the world to see, and he will at that point have no chance to win in any scenario.

But the fact that the NYT is now calling to cancel the debates is the surest sign so far that something is really wrong with Biden.
From the article: “When we were serious about the presidency, we wanted intelligence, thoughtfulness, knowledge, empathy and, to be sure, likability. It should also go without saying, dignity.”
IOW, we should just let the editors/staff of the NYT choose our leaders?
The media are trying to shut down Trump. If Americans see or hear the President, then they might vote for the President. Last quadrennium, Hillary Clinton trounced Donald Trump handily in all three debates, but the American people heard enough of Trump that he gained or retained support. The media and the Clinton campaign had to respond to his words and positions.
The media have a new position for this quadrennium: they will not show Trump, and Trump shall not speak directly to the American people. Instead, they will inform the people about their President and about Biden. (To keep “fairness,” they won’t show much of Biden either.)
They have used our open society against us, and in every instance or venue in which they gain power they conversely promote ‘closing’ society and demanding that only thoughts/comments acceptable to them be allowed.
The left in this country are no different, at all, than those that promoted the ‘Social Revolution’ in China, and the rise of Bolshevism in early 20th century Russia. They are just as delusional, just as crazed, and just as dangerous.
They have used our open society against us, and in every instance or venue in which they gain power they conversely promote ‘closing’ society and demanding that only thoughts/comments acceptable to them be allowed.

Their TV debate sealed the win for Kennedy with a big assist from Mayor Daley’s vote counting machine.
They are just seeing which (and maybe all) excuses stand up to public scrutiny.
This allows the campaign to say “There are multiple reasons why this is a bad idea, and they have nothing to do with senility”.

The NYTimes is SO obvious in what they are attempting to do. Protect Hiden Biden at all costs. Why does anyone read that fishwrap anymore??
