The FBI has established a firm link between Al-Qaeda and Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani, the Saudi aviation student who killed three U.S. service members and injured eight other Americans during a terrorist attack at the Pensacola naval airbase in Florida in December 2019.
The FBI found that Alshamrani, who was killed in the attack, had “significant ties” to Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) and frequently contacted operatives in the terrorist organization, even on the night before the attack, the leaders of the Justice Department (DOJ) and the FBI announced Monday.

Even when the US government asked Apple for help unlocking the murderers phone, they said no? Too much Chinese and California influence.
There is no reading of Islam that allows a Muslim to live with non-Muslims in a peaceful way. We need to cut ties 100% with any Islamic nation.
I don’t know. The last thing we need is MORE government intrusion via private enterprise. I want these monsters caught just as much as the next guy, but not at the expense of MORE of our liberties.

For USAF pilots, my recollection is that at least a Top Secret clearance I necessary. FBI agents interviewing former neighbors etc

What good is this information now? His activities and proclivities should have been detected long before he went on his shooting spree. In fact this incident should lead us to barring all Saudi flight students. Let them go to Russia or Syria or Iran for training. Or even do it themselves.
