Kristol formally became a Democrat (according to his tax filing, search Kristol and democrat). Yet he likes to pretend his position is “reviving principled conservatism in the United States.” by denouncing every conservative principle and siding with the Left.
Carville is also wrong, Democrats are meaner, and they fight dirtier. But they mostly target people on the right, seldom aim at their own fellow travelers on the Left.
