Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings released Friday show that Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) paid over half of her campaign’s spendings in the last quarter of 2019 to her alleged boyfriend’s political consulting firm.
According to the filings, between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31, Omar’s campaign paid a total of $217,000 to the E Street Group LLC for research services, digital advertising, fundraising consulting, travel, and other expenses. The firm belongs to Democratic consultant Tim Mynett, whose wife accused him in a divorce filing in August of having an affair with the congresswoman.

I have a dream...............that Omar will be dragged out of the SOTU in cuffs put on plane for Somalia.
I feel that we should set a ‘limit’ say maybe 2 million each per year as a Pols Salary.
That will be the PAY, no base, no bonuses (Well maybe if they balance the budget they get a % of what is CUT from the Debt each year).
Out of the 2 mill YOU will pay your staff, if you want to give it all to your family, fine.
Congress in session you get to fly 1st class to and from HOME base.
Stay in your district and state and let YOUR constituents know what you are doing.
When in DC, take a Military base and put them up in it, Quarters good enough for the defenders of the country, good enough for the ‘pretenders’.
Methinks troop spaces EVERYWHERE will be upgraded as that is where OUR REPS will be staying when on a junket.
We pay for and maintain the Offices, security, while in session.
So if ‘they’ want to fly around the country, world etc, if OFFICIAL business, ‘WE’ pay coach etc etc etc.
It is about time ‘we’ get back to the original intent of the Reps, DO THE COUNTRIES BUSINESS for 2 or 6 years, finish your term then go home and go back to your life.
It should be as barren an existence as possible.
The TRUE Patriots etc will grin and bear, the snake oil salesmen and grifters will find another way to screw us.
Only problem NOW is that they have to vote on it and term limits so......... (Schiff in one hand and wish in the other and tell me which fills up first)
