In another sign of the dangerous predicament facing President Donald Trump, his longtime ally Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham said in an interview that aired Sunday night that he could not rule out the possibility of impeachment if new evidence emerges.
In an interview on "Axios on HBO," Jonathan Swan asked the South Carolina senator: "Are you open minded if more to comes out that you could support impeachment?"
"Sure, I mean show me something that is a crime," Graham replied. "If you could show me that, you know, Trump actually was engaging in a quid pro quo outside the phone call, that would be very disturbing."
Swan was referencing Trump's request in a White House phone call to Ukraine's President for help investigating former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter. There is no evidence of wrongdoing by either Biden.

That’d be like replacing Lindsey Graham with another Lindsey Graham
I would prefer the SC governor, Henry McMaster.
The SSCI folks are guilty guilty guilty of trying to frame a presidential candidate and now president.
Does that me you are dropping out here?
.Graham has been Trumps biggest supporter in this impeachment scam..
Name one substantive thing Graham has done to support POTUS against the ongoing impeachment coup? You can’t. He publicly threatened POTUS not to fire Sessions. That let Rotten Rod become defacto AG and everything spiraled from there. In fact, Graham was substantively unsupportive of POTUS there. He has refused to hold hearings on any of coupists, etc., etc.
Tom Cotton is on the SSCI. Suddenly, he’s everywhere pro-Trump after 3 years hiding under his Senate desk. Now we get sternly written letters, rally appearances, etc. Now why could that be? LOL.
There was also NEVER any evidence of Trump Russia collusion, yet nearly every publication accepted such unsubstantiated allegations for three years. Most of them still accept it as fact.
How many “conservatives” are owned by the Deep State? Mitch, Burr? The Senate has had the power to expose this nonsense. They have not. Perhaps there are enough Republicans to convict. Having two scoops of ice cream is either a high crime or misdemeanor.
That would be like replacing Lindsey with a male version of Lindsey.
"Lindsey Graham does not rule out the possibility of Trump impeachment once new evidence is manufactured"
Remember that linda is up for reelection in 2020.
Remember also that linda is writing a Red Flag bill.
I would hope everyone is open-minded about impeaching a president, especially if he commits perjury in a sexual assault trial.
Because on the world stage, everyone knows that negotiations involve “leverage” - in whatever form it exists. It’s how things get done.
I don’t remember ANYONE saying “illegal” and “impeachment” when Obama gave Iran billions to get the “Iran deal” done. How was that not Quid Pro Quo?
So what if the money had been appropriated to Ukraine? If POTUS had a concern about what we’d get in return he has every right, even a duty, to make sure it’s worth while.
Democrats want to impeach over behavior that they ALL engage in. It’s nothing but Coup 2.0.
New evidence? Where’s the old evidence? What evidence?
Looks like Lyndsey wants a spot at the gallows when 10 million patriots storm Washington!!
Mr. Graham is running for the Republican nomination in 2024. Otherwise he is blowing smoke.
Why is this so controversial? If a President commits a crime, he or she should be impeached and removed. Why should there be any exceptions?
No, Graham is ticked off that we elected a President that sides with the citizens and the rule of law and threatens the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA)
The biggest bipartisan project of the last 30 years has been the fundamental transformation of our country against the will of the citizens.
They had arranged it so we couldn’t stop it until Trump stepped up for us.
THAT’S why they hate Trump so much.
Mikki Haley is the same Cheap Labor Express Bush League Republican as Graham.
