No, actually they've been denied repeatedly in the media, which is nowhere near the same thing. The BBC here has, however, at least actually asked Trump supporters what they think instead of the usual MSNBC/CNN approach of telling them what they think and then damning them for it. If the BBC sounds like a breath of fresh air you know how bad it's gotten in the U.S. media.

"Gutless" would imply that Washington Republicans actually agree with us.
