CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Friday’s LGBTQ Presidential Forum had the feeling of a home game for Pete Buttigieg, who was introduced as “a member of our community” to a rousing standing ovation. But that enthusiasm for Buttigieg has not guaranteed him a lock on this voting bloc in Iowa.
Buttigieg covered topics including learning “the hard way” about “discrimination” when he came out — like the first time he saw his mayoral office’s annual blood drive on his schedule, Buttigieg said, and soon realized, “I can’t be part of it.”
Yet some activists in Iowa said that Buttigieg had not focused enough attention in his campaign on the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ people. Even amid obvious enthusiasm for the South Bend, Ind., mayor, who faced a crowd waving rainbow “BOOT-EDGE-EDGE” signs and featuring “Pete” stickers on dozens of T-shirts, the pressure for Buttigieg to represent the broader LGBTQ community through his 2020 campaign has come with complications.

I can’t give blood because of where we were stationed in the 90s. Am I being discriminated against or is it good that no American’s brain melts from Mad Cow disease?
Donated blood the other day. You have to answer a multi-page questionnaire regarding your personal history. Sex with prostitutes, drug use or if male have you ever had sex with another male, even once, etc.
One has to wonder how honest the donors are.
And the dems want to accept the crazy LGBLT lifestyle as normal?

I have lived in Iowa for 56 years and am aware of a guy who became a woman and wrote a book about it; Christina Hollis. Part of his transformation process was for him to come back in our office for a few hours as Christina. It was strange to say the leasy. The women forced him to use the restroom in the lobby. I felt sorry for Bill. We raise a lot of hogs in IA so I shorten LGBT to BLT; great sandwich.
Homosexuals are at most 1% of the population. If he’s fighting to lock that down he’s a non event
Well, he might get the G’s, B’s, and Q’s.
Most of the L’s aren’t impressed with him.
And the L’s don’t like the T’s much either.
The G’s and the B’s don’t like the L’s.
And although the G’s like to say they like the T’s, if the T’s are actually MTF the L’s aren’t happy with them, while the FTM are not liked by the G’s.
The B’s are caught in the middle, but since they are “double-dipping” both the L’s and the G’s consider them unfair competition.
The Q’s are popular with all, since they don’t know WHAT they are.
