Left-wing filmmaker Michael Moore may be lacking general political acumen, but perhaps he at least knows how to give a fairly accurate prognosis of events to come when it comes to Democratic politics. On Thursday, he issued Democrats a dire warning: Nominate former Vice President Joe Biden and risk alienating progressive voters come 2020.
Writing a lengthy Twitter post, Moore first attacked Biden for attending a fundraiser hosted by Andrew Goldman, the founder of the natural gas company Western LNG, and argued that the former vice president is far too similar to Hillary Clinton.
"Last night on CNN, a student asked Biden, who had pledged to take NO fossil fuel money, why he was having an NYC fundraiser tonight hosted by Andrew Goldman, the founder of the natural gas co Western LNG. Biden denied it. Then CNN said it was true & that Biden is attending. Wow," Moore tweeted. "We can NOT go through this again, my friends. As with Hillary taking Goldman Sachs $$ & then trying to pretend nothing happened, we can NOT risk this again."
Moore went on to predict that the progressive base would stay home in 2020 with Biden on the ticket and that Trump's own issues and divisiveness would not be enough to compel progressives into punching the ticket for the former vice president.

I wouldn’t say Moore is an idiot. He is disliked because he is on the other side but he is honest about it and very consistent which deserve admiration or sort. He was right about Trump and he is generally right about Biden too. It is not if anyone would listen to him again.
I doubt the Dems will allow Biden to get the nominarion UNLESS he cuts a deal to get Obama’s endorsement by putting Michelle on the ticket and agreeing to resign within a year.
Folks...forget the political polls...they do not have a clue!!! Just take note of the dozens of quality tee shirt companies that have sprung up with tons of of various “Patriotic” themes on their product lines. These “TEE” Shirts are flying out of the bins, bought by thousands of Americans who will not proclaim their loyalty, support & devotion, to POTUS, Trump openly...but will gladly show and prove their undying patriotism and love for America the great freedom republic.
Organizations like “Wounded Warriors” & “TunnelToTowers”, etc., are also selling these type “TEE” shirts, like there is no tomorrow!!! Democrat, Buffoon, Biden & his fellow low life, traitor, Democrat scum & vermin Democrats are going down big time...period!!! Buy one...buy many....show your love for your country and your love & support of our great POTUS, Donald J. Trump!!!
He warned the Democrats about Trump. Michael Moore saw that Hillary could lose. He was one of the very few that did.

The fact that Biden thought he could get away with it proves how totally out of touch he is with—well, everybody under the age of 95.

While I agree with you across the board, I have been following a liberal commentator named Tim Pool* on YouTube. He often presents actual data and his take is that Lefty extremism is driving significant portions of the Democratic middle and right (which is still pretty far left) away.

No, I am not Tim Pool. But he reminds me of how Democrats were when I was young. You could have a political argument and disagree and they didn’t call you a racist or drop your friendship.
