U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., weighed in on President Trump's supporters Thursday, saying a "core part" of the president's base is composed of "racists" and "people who could be susceptible to racist views."
She also said many discussions on racism devolve into defenseness because "we do not talk about or educate people on recognizing racism."
The far-left freshman congresswoman made the remarks during an appearance on the podcast "Pod Save America," hosted by former Obama administration staffer Jon Favreau.
At one point, Favreau asserted that "there's racism there" when crowds gather for Trump rallies. But Ocasio-Cortez said it's more important to discuss the broader term "racism" than whether an individual or group is "racist."

Actually that’s a victory for us, as it’s the first time in years that I’ve heard a leading Democrat say that not ALL of us are racists.
...kind of disappointing in a way, it’s easier to have fun with them when they call everyone a racist, outright.

Considering that you can’t prove a negative, I’m never going to waste my breath arguing that I’m not a racist. Anyone can believe what they want about me, I no longer care.
This is exactly like how Leftists ought to have a hard time asserting that they’re not homicidal, totalitarian traitors.
But for what it’s worth, here’s where my thoughts/feelings stand on other races:
Mexicans and other low-class Latinos: Filth and scum, every last one of them, out to invade and plunder our beautiful nation.
Cubans and other middle-class Latinos: Lots of fine folks, provided they’re primarily of Spanish ancestry.
Asians: Decent enough in small quantities. But this is the USA, not Shanghai or Mumbai.
African-Americans: A real problem here. No doubt they are our fellow Americans and have every right to be here. And no doubt they have been kept in thrall by race-baiters, including many white Leftists. But the fact remains that no one forces people to do drugs or do crime. So, I am in the difficult position of hating black thug athletes like Colin Kaepernick, while respecting black conservatives like Justice Thomas and Dr. Ben Carson.
Other Third Worlders: I don’t care. Prosper in your own countries, stay out of ours.
European potential immigrants: Have been handed a raw deal for being white. I keep running into Brits, Dutchies, Germans, etc. who I’d love to have as neighbors — but they only get visas for part of the year.
Flame away, I’m a “racist” — or maybe just a “realist” — and I no longer give a flying flip.

It mirrors the “unconscious bias” and “white privilege” arguments, too. That white people who act race-neutral are secretly, on the inside, really racist, and they aren’t really not racist unless they announce their inborn sin and self-flagellate.
If they argue that they aren’t racist, challenge your blanket assignment of guilt and sin or react badly to being called bigots, akin to being called evil ... that magically proves they ARE bigots. It is circular reasoning but effective.
If the white person is quiet unless called upon to speak or act or pay for stuff, ready to self-flagellate and debates themselves for their moral superiors, they’re really evil and to be beaten into submission. Sometimes literally.
Conservatives and whites are the new untouchable caste. It is worse than “dhimmitude” in Shariah law, because in that system, you moved up the structure by converting to Islam. In social justice, you just go from an untouchable in denial to a submissive third class citizen ... in the name of fairness.
And like Shariah law, there are members of the oppressed group who trumpet the new morality in the hope of being put in charge of their immoral brethren. That’s the explanation for the DNC chair candidate who said her job was to shut white people up. “I’m good, I’m good, let me be in charge of the evil ones”. It gives them power and makes them a near equal to their moral superiors.
