President Trump on Sunday forcefully denounced two mass shootings in Ohio and Texas, saying "hate has no place in our country."
As the president spoke, top Democratic presidential candidates -- including Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Cory Booker -- demanded Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell recall Congress from its recess, currently slated to last until the second week of September, to vote on initiatives to curb gun violence.
Addressing reporters in Morristown, New Jersey, Trump promised "we're going to take care" of the problem. He said he's been speaking to the attorney general, FBI director and members of Congress and will be making an additional statement Monday morning.

This is about as easy to fix as draining a swamp that’s been accumulating for four decades.
The ‘RATS demand a recall to attack the rights of the American people but refuse to do their job to do something about the invasion of America by illegal alien invaders. Screw them. The GOP should demand a recall and force the socialist ‘RATS to do something about the invaders FIRST. Then they can discuss trampling the Bill of Rights and taking away the Second Amendment rights of the American people.
The shooting in texas is a local law enforcement issue. The shooting in ohio is a local law enforcement issue. Neither is a federal issue. It’s none of the federal government’s business.
Trump is good to call it what it is, but beyond that there is little he should do, if anything.
I wouldn’t mind recalling all of congress, but not in the way the Democrats are pushing.
If, as our President said, “Hate as no place in our country” those who promote hate need to be de-incentivized.

Most, if not all, of these shooters seem to be leftists anarchists with some connection to Antifa type groups and a known history of threatening some type of mass murder attack
This has everything to do with the steady degeneration and radicalization of our society and not a gun problem.
It really does not help that many of our demagogue politicians, community organizers and media talking heads are trying to incite violence while their shadowy confederation community organizers run well funded, professional efforts to organize and incite what amounts to domestic terrorist groups that breed hate in disaffected and mentally ill individuals and mobilize them flit commit the kind of political violence we are seeing
Guns are not the problem, they are simply a symptom of a larger problem.
Gun control will not solve the problem when the problem is there are people trying to recruit, organize and incite an underground movement for violent civil insurrection and a few of its less mentally stable recruits let the anger and hatred the groups are fomenting boil over and take matters into their own hands prematurely ( or maybe not so prematurely in the case of false flag or provocateur events)
It’s very difficult to change the societal degeneration and alienation at the heart of the rise of a new counter culture in society but it possible to shut down the paid professional community organizers and their violent messaging that is exploiting the pathology of the counter filter and directing it to their violent ends.
It is also possible to intercept and institutionalize the dangerously mentally ill who commit the crimes and it is surprisingly easy to do because most of the mass casualty perps have a long history that is well known to school administrators and law enforcement and were red flagged long before they went on their spree.
Very few people in a position to know are surprised when these unstable individuals finally go off and commit mass violence, they are just surprised that it didn’t happen sooner
This is not a gun control problem, it’s a people control problem that is becoming progressively worse. As we are seeing all over Europe, where guns are harder to get, violent people find many much more deadly non gun methods to commit mass murder
Ironically, as our society revolves further and further into lawlessness and violence, guns become an increasingly necessary as a form of self defense to protect the innocent from the predators and as a deterrent to help prevent the predators from going off
Eradicate HATE and you will eradicate the Democrat Party.
