Abusive behavior pushes good people away from participating in public policy and getting involved at a local level. Weve heard from many who have either given up or are considering quitting politics because its become so toxic in our state. People involved in Idaho politics on a volunteer basis are forced to choose between standing up and taking the abuse or leaving in silence to avoid further nastiness.

Tell us about these “far right extremists”.
Conservative Republicans are finally pushing back against extremism.

The authors definition of extremism sounds like the DemocRATS definition.
That’s what I thought. Maybe the noob can explain.

Just out of curiosity, why are you posting a thread on the same article that you posted a thread on last month?
I do not have any information about the author except what she wrote in the article.
But this sounds much like a “can’t we all just get along” kind of play.
Where are the principles she stands for?
All I am reading is “Those guys who oppose my ideas are mean!”
She seems to think positioning herself and her group as centrist or mainstream is the key to success.
Something smells about this author!
This site seems to assume that anyone right of center is too far right. Its name is kind of a misnomer.
Yes, it appears there are a number of Idaho folks who have decided to demonize local conservative groups by character assassination, innuendo and name calling. Heres an article by one of her local kindred spirits:
“Citing the Southern Poverty Law Centers list of hate groups, the AP tied multiple groups to the recent antics of the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee (KCRCC).”
SPLC...WORST OF the worst..story ended. Methinks Ms Pet-my-bone is an agent provocateur.
Sounds like a Mitt Romney supporter.
SPLC... Might as well cite the DNC.
Or a mole.
SNIFF.
(Who's in charge of the Viking Kitties again? Anyone pretending to be "conservative" would not be giving the SPLC even a microgram's worth of credibility.)
...Samantha Powers' husband, whats-his-face.
Cass Sunstein. Or Podesta's group.
Martyrs are supposed to be dead. Who have these people youre so worried about killed?
How many of these middle of the road conservative types are pushing up daisies?
None you say?
Thats what I thought.
Now go away.
Far away.
