I disagree with him on this but he has one of the best voting records in either House. I think we need people like Amash and Massie in Congress.

Those are higher ratings than all but a handful of members. We would be well served with more members like that.
Wait, you are really saying we need people who would call for impeachment of their own party’s president—being the only one so a standout...people who would be used as a tool by the democrats?
I don’t care how high his ratings are with CR etc. Impeachment is not in the same league as a budget vote—so on a major issue (is there a more major issue than impeachment?), we don’t need this clown pulling another NeverTrumper stunt when fact of the matter is that Trump staying in office or not will likely change the course of our country for decades to come.
I’ve been following Amash for years. I suspect you never heard of him.
We could use a Congress full of people with voting records like his. Period. That’s all I’ve said. I find it unlikely that his primary opponent will have as conservative a voting record. I guess how a Member of Congress actually votes on issues doesn’t matter to you.

I have followed him and other Mich. lawmakers for a long time as my daughter went to school for 6 years in Michigan...Interned there, etc. I have spent a lot of time there—It is a beautiful state when out in the country. I particularly like northern parts...The Soo, Copper Harbor, Marquette.
Amash’s pro IMPEACHMENT STANCE has negated any voting he may have done previously in my opinion as I stated above, if Dems get Presidency and Senate, who cares—his vote will be nothing more than symbolism...Oh and liberals like Bill Mahr indicated Amash’s position is a game changer in the impeachment landscape...
So No we don’t need him if he is going to turn around betray our President on the all important issue of impeachment.
Michigan was a close race in 2016—and Amash offered no help...A true NeverTrumper through-and-through from the get-go :( So even if impeachment vote never takes place, his stance will not help Trump win Michigan. And why would he try to help, he wanted to challenge Trump for Presidency...he is actually worse than Romney as far as supporting our President is concerned.
