Democratic 2020 presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg admitted during his Sunday town hall on Fox News that when he talks about fair taxes, what he means is higher taxes.
The South Bend, Indiana mayor took a question early in the evening about fiscal responsibility.
New Hampshire state director of the Concord Coalition Tyler Sweeney asked, We reached $22 trillion in national debt. What would a President Buttigieg do to restore fiscal responsibility?
Buttigieg began by attacking the Trump tax cuts, saying, You dont blow a hole in the budget with an unnecessary and unaffordable tax cut for the wealthiest. Part of it is do no harm.'
Mayor Pete went on to argue that debt and deficits can play a legitimate role in a functioning economy as long as the debt is tied to programs or initiatives that will eventually pay for themselves.
When candidates, Democrats, go out promising as I think we should that were going to have major increases in investment in things like education, health and infrastructure, we also gotta be willing to say where the revenues going to come from, Buttigieg explained.

unaffordable tax cut
IT’S NOT YOUR MONEY!!!
“Forget the whole homosexualist ideology issue, this guy is a hard core Marxist like his father.”
Exactly right. He’s as hardcore leftist as Crazy Bernie and Faucahontas.
Face it Butthead uses “Fair tax” to confuse people. He is trying to fool people into believing he’s is for the “Fair Tax plan” that was popular a couple of years ago. In other words he is a typical lying Democrat!
People who love “fairness” actually love being able to decide what’s fair.

How to play three card Monte step right up friends.......
There he goes again with that blowing thing. Dumb bastard.
But if lil peter wants to deal in facts, since the tax rates were reduced in 2018, the tax revenues increased, so 'blow a hole in your husband's ear'.
