Actually Benjamin Disraeli used the term “capitalist” at least 3 years earlier in his 1845 work Sybil, than Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels who used the term capitalist in The Communist Manifesto in 1948 to refer to a private owner of capital.

“Biden will be the nominee. “

I think you are probably right. MSM is “finding” all these stories to help with the narrative that groping Joe is the centrist voice of reason. It’s BS of course he’s a leftist jerk like the rest of them. The DNC has decided Joe has the best shot so the news outlets are helping him for the general. I don’t agree about buttplug, the Rats will demand a woman on the ticket.

It’s a shame capitalism has become a dirty world. The problem isn’t capitalism. It’s that what we exist under now is Fascism.

They know that they probably don't have a chance to beat the incumbent President Trump, and they've got a bunch of old white deadwood to get rid of. Biden has many if not most, if not all, the political and personal liabilities that the Demwits are always bellowing that our President has, he may be just the guy to pull some of the fence-sitters back across the divide in 2020. That's their hope, anyway.

By 2024, Sanders will be, what, 80? Or dead. And if alive, he'll still be white.

And they're obviously blissfully unconcerned about women; gays are much more fanatically devoted to ousting all Republicans, and they also have a lot of money they can be parted from with very little work. Buttplug will be the VP nominee.

How about, we give the economic system now commonly known as “capitalism” a DIFFERENT connotation?

Call it “personal economic freedom”, or “enlightenment”, or a synonym that captures the meaning of the intention to earn the rewards for initiative and prudent investment in growth.

Because this economic system does adhere closely to the growth of a crop from preparation of the incubating seed bed, to the scattering of the seeds that will constitute the crop, to the tending and protection of that growing crop, to the harvest, and the further utilization of the harvest, including keeping back a portion of the seed to produce another crop in the coming season. The stewards of this strategy to increase and expand the harvest, to be traded to others for various goods and services, are the guardians of the future.

An expectation of that prosperous future is what fuels the enterprising spirit in the quest for expansion and bountiful harvest.

Serious agricultural study is the essence of this understanding of the cycle of growth that leads to prosperity.

Unless, of course, people just cannot stand prosperity.

What really bothers me is this statement:

Asked about the AOC proposal to impose a 70% tax on the top 1% of taxpayers, 79% Clinton voters agree, and so do 46% of Trump voters.

46% of Trump supporters agree with taxing the rich. I find that a little hard to believe myself.

They want Joe, so he can have Michelle as the VP, so that they can just be Barrack’s puppets for a 3rd term.

That's true but ironically it's the correct term.

Correct? IN what sense?

I still think Dinobernie will be the nominee. He has money, organization, the sense he was screwed last time, and then there is Biteme, who I don’t think can go through many weeks without destroying himself.

Oh, and a story came out this week that Dinobernie was quietly corralling superdelegates-—the people who stole the nomination from him last time.

Our own side is partially to blame for coining the term “crony capitalism”, which of course is not capitalism at all...

What happens to the women candidates? This cycle seems to be poised to have another woman on the Dem ticket.

How did Luntz do in predicting the 2016 outcome?

Didn’t Luntz guarantee, without a doubt, that Hillary would win in 2016?
