Trumps success story in the Midwest will be hard for Democrats to top.
Regardless of who wins the Democratic nomination for president one year from now, the partys deep pockets already are prepping the groundwork to make sure that historyor herstory, if you willdoes not repeat itself in 2020. The Democratic presidential candidates path to the White House doesnt run along the Acela Corridor or the Pacific Coast Highway, but rather across Interstate 94 in the upper midsection of the country. Democrats learned this the hard way in 2016.
For all her excusesRussian social media bots, former FBI Director James Comey, traitorous married white womenHillary Clinton lost the presidential election for one reason: She failed to carry the Midwest, including the crucial states of Michigan and Wisconsin.

the gest of the article, says Trump is stronger now in the Midwest than ever.
However, I see an opening for another democrat candidate to step in. Don’t know who that might be.
I think Bernie, is going to get the nomination.
It comes down to, if the GOP will give Trump another luke warm backing like they did in 2018.
Creepy Sleepy gonna show ‘em the error of their ways :-)
My prediction for D is either Biden/Harris or Bernie/Klobuchar.
Again, all Democrats have to do is not be crazy, but the majority of the clown car occupants are just that crazy clowns.
With the economy booming and Trump steadily marching down the list of campaign promises......tariffs, the Wall, etc I think hes got an excellent chance in the Midwest again. He actually keeps his promises - or at least makes every effort to like no previous president Ive ever seen with the possible exception of Ronald Reagan.
Has anyone seen any such stats? Can one assume that these states are benefiting,employment-wise,from the Trump economy as the nation as a whole is?
I know unemployment in Pennsylvania is the lowest it has been in decades going back to the 1960s.
That's great news. And Ohio wasn't even close in '16 so it's hard to imagine it flipping. If things are going well in MI and IN then it seems highly likely that DJT is a shoe-in next year.
Finding enough workers is a problem playing out in many parts of the Midwest, a region with lower unemployment and higher job-opening rates than the rest of the country, according to an April 2018 Wall Street Journal report, citing hiring challenges by employers in Iowa, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Southwestern Ohio, solid Trump country, is in the midst of a warehousing boom.

The figures are linked in the WSJ, behind a paywall or a log-in. I didn't check on it, but have no reason to doubt the author of this article.
It is not lost on the Rats that the GOP did NOTHING about the cheating in 18. This was just the trail run, they are going to cheat to a degree we cannot imagine. Trump won by a lot of electoral votes but a number of those sates were razor thin wins.
As my home state of Kansas turns bluer and bluer....
How can it be Bernie when the MSM is beating him in the head with ole pervy Joe fake polls?
He has a very loyal following. Just don’t see anyone else coming in, but it’s still early.
“time, money and psychic energy tailoring their message to”: otherwise known as pandering, the quintessential campaigning strategy of Dems and something that Trump as never done ...
Trump has exactly ONE message, a message for ALL Americans, and Trump never deviates from his singular message regardless of who, where, or when he gives a speech ... and this genuineness and complete lack of phoniness is just one of many reasons so many of us love this man so much ...
