Very bizarre. I think Nikki Haley would be great as a presidential candidate herself at some point, although she seems to have disappeared from view. Pence is doing a fine job and I don’t know why Trump should get rid of him.

Also, the “woman from a non-European background” card doesn’t matter in her case, because no conservative will ever be able to use that card. Apparently if you’re a conservative, you forfeit your right to be a member of a victim class.
