The Wu-Tang Clan said it best: cash rules everything around me. In order to become president, you must be able to bring in the dough.

The first quarter of fundraising ended on March 31st, with Senator Bernie Sanders leading the Democratic pack with over $18 million. Senator Kamala Harris is in second place with $12 million, and Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke is third with 9 million.

By comparison though, President Trump raised $30 million this past quarter. Top advisor to the Trump campaign, Lara Trump, says that the president has his eyes set on a historic $1 billion haul.

Very telling as compared to last time.

People know which way the wind is blowing.

As long as it’s not from NJ :)

To be honest thats a little disingenuous. There are around 20 Democrats running. Once there is a final nominee the money will flow in like never before.

Money isn’t everything. Hillary outspent Trump by a huge margin in 2016.

Everytime that vile Minn Muslim opens her mouth, Dem donors run in the other direction

Same with that Ratshita Muslim from Mich....and AOC.

How stupid the Dems were to encourage these people to run-—to give them money and party support to get elected.

The Democrats are doing extremely well. The top 3 candidates have already raised $40m. At this stage in 2011, the GOP had raised less than $1m combined:

1st Quarter 2011

Campaign Finance information through March 30, 2011, according to the Federal Elections Commission as of April 15, 2011.[11]

Republicans

Candidate Money Raised Loans Received Money Spent Cash On Hand Money Transfers
(from other accounts)
Total Debt
Fred Karger $479,871.13 $200,000 $175,699.18 $4,171.95 $0 $2,342,765.97
Tim Pawlenty $160,065.91 $0 $43,419.40 $116,646.51 $0 $0
Buddy Roemer $54,990.00 $0 $2,150.78 $52,839.22 $0 $0

And Trump gets to save his war chest until the general election.

The socialist dems are going to tear themselves apart in the primaries.

The Democrats are seeing a tsunami of cash. At this point in 2011, the GOP field, combined, had raised less than $1m, compared to the $40m raised by the top 3 (in terms of fundraising) Dem candidates in 2019.

an open commie, an ineligible person, and a younger version of a commie...................leading the D pack?

REALLY the regular D voters need to find a way to regain control of their party machine from the dangerous extreme leftist (commie/nazi) fringe

for starters, stop SorozNazi.. you don’t need (an evil) puppetmeister controlling your party

Trump ran a very effective campaign spending almost no money in 2016. Trump with a $1 Billion war chest? Wow.

Why would they? It worked for them previously. Obama did win 2 terms.

I wouldn’t call $333m almost no money. Here’s to hoping he can repeat the 2016 haul without dipping into his personal fortune.

yes, Obama did win 2 terms
but what did he DO with those 2 terms?
mostly, the commie/IslamoNazi agenda...
stirring up more dissention/racial and religious hatred, and weakening American defenses, economy, and society.
which is NOT the agenda for many D voters.

also, many voters caught onto Obama and would not vote for Obama2

unless, of course, the GOP-e manages to run more “throw the election away” candidates like McShame and Romney

then, anything’s possible...

And yet Hillary won almost 3m more votes than Trump. I wish D voters weren’t as left-wing as they are. There’s this old saying, though - if wishes were horses ...

yes she got a ton of votes
but...
with almost no voter-id in effect
and
with millions of illegal, ineligible, or outdated names on the eligibility lists
including between 1 and 2 million in LA county alone
plus perhaps half that number again in neighboring Orange County, California

etc.

and tons of ballot=stuffing exercises such as we saw in Vegas and Pennsylvania etc

and with SorozNazi funding galore...all over the place, including in getting his type of people into the voter counting and certification positions in many jurisdictions...money does talk, after all.. indeed, it can scream!

my point is that GOP and the rest of America needs to be far, far more active cleaning up the voting process...

then, if D’s win, so be it!
However, I doubt they can win most honest elections

Actually, I’m pretty sure they can win most honest elections. Taking stuff from other people is a pretty seductive philosophy, curable only to a certain extent via mass death by famine. It’s certainly worked for Euro-socialists, to the point that the British Conservative party is well to the left of the Democratic Party, which is why they went along with Obama’s plot to overthrow Trump.
