Newly arrested WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange needs to “answer for what he has done,” Hillary Clinton said on Thursday.
The 2016 Democratic presidential nominee and former secretary of state weighed in on Assange while at a speaking event with her husband, former President Bill Clinton. Assange was arrested earlier Thursday at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, and the US has charged him with conspiring with former Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning to break into a classified government computer at the Pentagon.
WikiLeaks’ publication of Democratic emails stolen by Russian intelligence officers during the 2016 election season hurt Clinton’s presidential campaign. Donald Trump, Clinton’s Republican opponent, frequently showered praise on Assange during the final weeks of the campaign and cheered on the release of damaging emails from Clinton’s campaign manager, John Podesta....

By prosecuting him valuable information can be revealed during trial. I do believe he will be found innocent of all charges, since he has done nothing, but what the NYT has done in the past (release information given to him0>
Let’s be logical about Assange.
Assange opted to be essentially a prisoner in the Equatorian embassy longer than the maximum penalty should he’d faced the charges and been convicted.
WHY?
It was a combination of security and media awareness in the embassy that he knew would keep him safe. He saw what they did to Seth Rich at the very least and knew they were capable of getting to him in prison.
Timing is everything and the timing of being arrested now is interesting to say the least. With all hell starting to break loose on the deep state concurrent to Mueller releasing his report now signaling its Trumps turn to go on the offensive.
One of the big stonewalls during Muellers investigation sought information/testimony from Roger Stone about Assange that he never gave up.
Important to remember that it was Obama/Hillary and their cronies who wanted Assange and probably not arrested but silenced operating under their long held M.O. “dead men tell no tales”
I highly suspect Trump/Barr worked a deal to have him arrested and safely extradited back here knowing testimony in his defense can be used as states evidence against the deep state players.
