Meghan McCain, on "The View", defended her father, the late Sen. John McCain, against disparaging comments from President Donald Trump.
Over the weekend Trump reiterated jabs he's made at the senator over the years, calling McCain "last in his class," in a post on Twitter.
On 'The View' Monday, Meghan McCain said Trump "spends his weekend obsessing over great men" because "he will never be a great man."
"My father was his kryptonite," McCain said.

His last votes stabbed every single Republican voter in the back because his bile and hatred for the President he never could be could not be contained.
Yeh, for sure. A small, vindictive, petty man. Couldnt contain his jealousy and bitterness toward Conservatives in general and Trump specifically. I believe as time goes by history will score him as a minor leaguer.

Because Trump is already far greater than McCain will be. He is the 45th President of the United States. McCain will be name with mostly foggy connotations and associations in several decades. Trump will be famous, notorious, and perhaps infamous in several decades. Iconic, for better or for worse. McCain has ZERO chance to accomplish that

Upon reading Meghan’s words the only response that came back was Professor Snape’s “Your father was a swine!!”
My second thought was sadness that McCain was never able to break free of the brainwashing he underwent as a POW.
McCain was the manchurain candidate. Everything he did was designed to hurt these United States.
You’re not fat, Meghan, you’re just... easier to see.
