Meghan McCain, on "The View", defended her father, the late Sen. John McCain, against disparaging comments from President Donald Trump.
Over the weekend Trump reiterated jabs he's made at the senator over the years, calling McCain "last in his class," in a post on Twitter.
On 'The View' Monday, Meghan McCain said Trump "spends his weekend obsessing over great men" because "he will never be a great man."
"My father was his kryptonite," McCain said.

Sen. McCain was a human slug. He smelled worse when he was alive than he does now.
His last votes stabbed every single Republican voter in the back because his bile and hatred for the President he never could be could not be contained.
Senator Illegal Alien Amnesty and Designated Loser to the Kenyanesian Usurper McCain was a stain on this nation.
A squirt gun hitting back? Okay ABC.
Trump went little too far, but McCain really not a statesman or even a decent politician.

j-mac hit first. He said Trump is not a conservative. That was in 2015. When asked his reaction to that statement, the word ‘hero’ was in the reporter’s question. True conservative Trump did a backhanded response about what a real hero is, and the rest is history. The spiteful votes which have cost conservatives a ton continue to rankle DJT, and rightly so.
DJT would never have said a thing about megahn; but now he will. I figure it’s inevitable; and I figure daddy’s girl will be reeling from it when it’s all said and done. She done jumped the shark.

Considering the recent News that John McCain’s right hand man was spreading the Steele Dossier LIES everywhere and anywhere after Trump was Elected POTUS, Meghan’s Father was more of a POS than anyone imagined.
That is exactly right. Spot on description of him.
His last act in life was to collude in a conspiracy to sabotage a presidential candidate and then a sitting president. Of his own party.
Sadly, that might not even make the top five worst things he did to his country while holding elected office in the House and Senate.
McCain may or may not have been a naval asset but he was most definitely not a statesman as his daughter implies in her tweets about Trump. Has she addressed the charge that her father’s trusted assistant shopped the dossier all over Washington and nine news organizations with, or perhaps without, his boss’s knowledge? No.
Well Meghan is certainly no catch, even with all of her daddy’s money she probably inherited. Like who cares what Meghan thinks!!!

Meghan blasted Trump at her father’s funeral and made it known he wasn’t invited. McCain was given an undeserved, quasi Presidential funeral.
McCain and his aide Kramer tried to take out Trump. They were Simpson’s errand boys circulating the dossier far and wide. McCain gave a copy directly to Comey not realizing the FBI had copies months before. No wonder McCain bristled when asked about his role in the distribution of the dossier.
Meg needs to get over herself and her father issues. He did some right things in his life, but he also did a boatload of wrong things.
She could Google “Keating Five” as one place to start an epiphany. There are others.
She may be his daughter but that should not make her immune to proven fact and truth.
