Polls are shifting because the pollsters dont want egg on their faces two election cycles in a row.

They will hold off on the House races for as long as possible.

There never was a Blue Wave to begin with.

“This guy rode in on Jimmy Carter’s coattails.”

Jimmy Carter had coattails? Hard to imagine that nowadays.

One wildcard too, since leftists and other assorted fruititarians and nuts and sandal wearers have in recent years shown an ever increasing propensity to doxxing, swatting, personal attacks, assaults, violence and smear campaigns at anyone “not of the body” so to speak, a large number of people are very reticent at the idea of answering polls or answering honestly. In fact the very idea that people will share deeply personal opinions and beliefs with complete strangers working for completely unknown entities, who then monetize this data and sell it for staggering amounts of money is pretty damn crazy when you think about it. F these people, keep ‘em guessin’. Their rules.

The governor’s race could have more long term effects than the senate race. The elected governor will be in charge of 2020 redistricting.

Florida needs to get out and vote to defeat the communist Gillum.

Because if Gillum is elected the potential for a decade of blue Florida is in the cards given that:

The Florida Supreme Court recently ruled that the next governor of Florida will have the opportunity to appoint three new justices to the Florida Supreme Court. Republican Party of Florida chairman Blaise Ingoglia stated: “Andrew Gillum would appoint radical, activist justices who would legislate from the bench and work to eliminate school choice, erode pro-life principles and impose big-government ideology on our state.” A far-left court could also impact Florida’s district maps.

For example, if Democrats are unhappy with how the legislature draws the lines, they will likely contest the proposed drawings and file a lawsuit. Assuming that this happens, the case could end up in the Supreme Court, at which time the Democrats will submit their proposed districts to the far left-leaning court. These districts will likely favor a shift in the balance of power to the Democrats.

If Andrew Gillum is elected governor of Florida, he will appoint far left-leaning justices who will be more inclined to favor the Democratic proposed state district maps. Gillum, a Democrat, will also have the power to veto the proposed congressional district lines. If this happens, and district lines are drawn in a manner that favors Democrats, many more Democrats will be elected in subsequent elections, and the Florida congressional delegation could turn Democrat. This sentiment is shared by some Democrats not only in Florida, but around the country.

Don’t forget, Nate Silver says Hillary has a 98% chance of winning.

I was not able to find information on their polling webpage for how long they have been in operation. The Term “Vox Populi” is over 1000 years old and is Latin for “Voice of the People”. It was originally used to criticize popular views and was intended to say that popular opinion many times bordered on insanity. Today it is not used so much with that intent.

After Obama’s anemic “rally” for Nelson and Gillum yesterday, I’d wager the numbers just got better...

I’ve been saying from the start, Scott and DeSantis are going to win. All my contacts in my home state have told me this.

Bill Nelson didn’t used to be so bad. For several terms he was a standard fairly conservative Southern Democrat. After about 2000 though he veered pretty hard left. Now he just takes marching orders from Chuck Schumer.

If I had had to choose between the original Bill Nelson from about 1980 or so and Rick Scott that might’ve been a difficult decision. Not now.

I will say one thing only. Bill Nelson only thinks of Bill Nelson and his electability. If anything happens, Bill Nelson calculates how he can capitalize on it.

Actual scum rates better in my thinking.
