Texas Democratic Senate candidate Beto O'Rourke said at a CNN town hall Thursday night that he would still vote to impeach President Donald Trump.
The El Paso congressman challenging Sen. Ted Cruz said that his position on impeachment hadn't changed, even as Cruz has used the issue to galvanize conservative voters against O'Rourke's campaign.
Asked by CNN's Dana Bash if he had changed his mind after saying he'd vote to impeach Trump this summer, O'Rourke said, "I haven't."
He pointed to the ongoing probe into whether Trump's 2016 campaign colluded with Russia.
"There may be an open question as to whether the President, then the candidate, sought to collude with the Russian government in 2016," O'Rourke said. "But to quote George Will -- very conservative columnist -- when we saw him on that stage in Helsinki defending Vladimir Putin, the head of the country that attacked our democracy in 2016 instead of this country, and its citizens and this amazing democracy, that was collusion in action."(continued)

Texas is like Wisconsin.
Couple big cities are libtard haven and can muck sh1t up for the rest of the almost all comservative counties in other places.
I found something most amusing about the “Irish Mexican” on the internet. If one looks at Beto’s campaign advertisements he seems rather dark. This is Photo Shop enhancement. If one goes to google and looks at images of him from the past he is whiter than Ted Cruz.
I will give Beto credit for his Spanish that is very good. I grew up in West Texas and my Spanish is good but not as good as Beto’s. I am white just like Beto. His real name is Robert. Out on the farm my most wonderful adopted Abuelo (grandmother) called me Carlito. That means little Charles. She spoke no English. She was a wonderful lady. Her grandchildren were my playmates. I lived and loved the Mexican culture but I am white just like Beto. I object to him trying to be something he is not just for political gain.
In college he changed to Beto. In high school it was puto or joto.
No, he’s a MORON, who suffers from being completely brain dead.
Freepers will enjoy this parody song made for Beto here in Texas

But he gives exploding fist bumps. plays the air drums and skateboards, how cool is that?...
I think that we should demand a sanity and loyalty test of Beto the Fraud. The boy isn’t playing with a full deck and if he’s going to become a government employee, he should definitely be examined - for sanity, loyalty and to see if a proctologist can find his head up his ass.
After all, we need “clear thinking” members of Congress, not “weird thinking” Marxist clowns on skateboards.
Well that’s true, but I think my point is still valid, that is that because this race pits one candidate that is strongly conservative against one that is a strong liberal, the vote total should give an indication of “blueness”. One factor is that Cruz’s Hispanic name and origins may earn him more votes from people who don’t know the politics but just vote for the most Hispanic-sounding candidate.
No, it's BETTA. Like the fish. Not Beto.
This guy is a male DEMONcRAT version of Elizabeth Warren. Plolitically blind, tone def and the gift that keeps on giving.
George Will must be so pleased to be used by an extreme leftist like the fake Mexican.
This is why it is critical to get out and vote for the R candidate everywhere, to keep the Dems from taking control.
I hope that Left-wing, fraudulent, lying drunk loses in a landslide!
Does he know that Senators do not vote to impeach, only to remove?
When the Trump for Cruz rally is held, he might have a better idea....
Beto stood with “Obama bowing to Cuba’s communist dictatorship”.
Texas allows you to use a nickname on the ballot.
and yet I don’t hear the “straight ticket democrats” bragging about their support for a wackadoodle nominee for governor.
He’s playing this to get a spot in the POTUS race in 20. That riding in on a skateboard the other day was all for the hip crowd.
