Two former friends of Sen. John McCain say his daughter Meghan McCain's pointed criticism of President Donald Trump in her speech at the Arizona Republican's memorial service on Saturday reflected the character of her late father.
"She is her father's daughter," South Carolina GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union." "If you say something bad about her dad, you will know it, whether you're the janitor or the President of the United States. She is grieving for the father she adored. I think most Americans understand that."
Former independent Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman, who joined the program with Graham, said he was a "proud uncle" watching McCain's speech at the memorial service.
"She was direct ... the way John was," Lieberman said.
In her remarks on Saturday, McCain contrasted her father's legacy with Trump's rhetoric, saying, "The America of John McCain has no need to be made great again, because America was always great."(continued)

Normal people would be mortified to see a family member use a eulogy in this manner, but that’s the McCains for ya: nasty to the bitter end.

In the VN era, there were societal rules. It was considered lower than dirt for a woman to grab a returning married Vet in that circumstance.

How was Cindy’s eulogy? With her makeover and slinky gown she sure didn’t look like a grieving widow.
She is her father’s daughter and she’s going to be the next AZ Senator.
That’s why she’s such a terrible person.
I hope Governor Ducey isn’t stupid enough to appoint angry beached whale MEGhan to the senate seat. If he does, he will face extreme wrath from voters, he will be slitting his own political throat.
John McCain was a mean old @sshole, he was NOT beloved by most Arizonans. The myth of a “beloved”’John McCain was made up by the fake news Trump-hating media.
Lindsay has already betrayed the citizens with amnesty and has repeatedly said he will do it again if not removed from office.
Graham needs to be replaced in 2020.
In November 2017 Morning Consult surveyed 255,000 voters to come up with a list of the “15 Most Hated Senators”. McCain came in as the third most hated senator, Flake was second most hated, and Yertle the Turtle came in as THE most hated senator LOL.
In the same survey, Linda Graham was the 10th most hated senator LOLOL.
Maybe she’s angry because she knows she won’t be named Senator on Tuesday.
It’s like she was an only child. Where were the other offspring?
Graham is extremely manipulative with SC primaries. That’s where he wins. He floods the primaries then gets a simple majority then walks away with the win in nov. he is a liberal

But if Cindy was all dolled up for it, sounds like above everything else, she wants to be ready for her close-up.
Cindy is expecting to just walk into that Senate Seat from what I’ve been reading.

With the Senate essentially tied at this point, the mere thought of either of them teaming up with the impending disaster of Senator Mittens from Utah is entirely TOO MUCH TO CONTEMPLATE!!!!
I thought Mitt would have been at the MAC-funeral too, him being a RINO and all. I have no doubt, Mitt Romney could have written an anti-Trump eulogy with no problems at all.
Yes, I was rather surprised that Romney missed that golden opportunity to join the tirades against our wonderful POTUS.
Perhaps, there are/were lingering hard feelings from McCain’s primary battle with Romney in 2008. Just a guess.
