Lots of thoughts.
But my only comment would be that I trust Mike Pence. I frankly don’t believe there will even be an attempt at impeachment but if Pence ever becomes POTUS I would trust his judgment and his faith in God.

I’m doing work on a total lib couple’s pc. the libs sure can blow up their computers with spyware, etc. Probably the same way Podesta got hacked.

Man they are going nuts! The woman was out registering voters (she’s the prez of the league of women voters) and they routinely visit CA (we are in upstate NY)

There’s a website “need to impeach” that they are trumping (pun intended) up on XM radio as well. I’m dragging my feet fixing it. It’s fixed now and the emails came flooding in from the daiy KOS, fight against Kavanaugh, etc. I have to hand it to the left in that they get totally involved, circle the wagons and fight (GASP) dirty (yes it’s needed now to fight fire and fire IMHO)

Too bad the pubbies and conservatives don’t band together like that!

They used to have a framed photo of the Obozo family in their kitchen (this family is lily white) and now they have a framed photo of the swimmer from back in the sixties. (barf)

I am not sure, but I think many rats 🐀 think if Trump is impeached, that the Hildebeast will be handed the presidency. They are wrong, as they are usually wrong on every issue. They also are not taking into consideration, the possibility of armed conflict.

Untold conservatives voted for Trump hoping Mike Pence would eventually take the reins.

The "Untold" number who really wanted Pence is about 6, but I agree that they'd better be careful what they ask for. If they get rid of Trump on some bullshit charge and Mrs. Bill Clinton is still walking around free, look out!

It takes two-thirds of the Senate to convict Trump and remove him from office. It is not going to happen. The votes aren’t there unless the GOP elects to commit political suicide.

Pence is not Trump. He can be manipulated and backed down.

You don’t want him as POTUS.

The millions who voted for President Trump will not sit idly by while they try to impeach The Boss. No way. Everyone I talk to is really pissed over the 24/7 BS.

No faction hates Pence more than the homo faction. Pence didn’t back down. The other politicians did.

Mike Pence
Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Pence
“After Pence signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, he encountered fierce resistance from moderate members of his party, the business community, and LGBT advocates. The backlash against the RFRA led Pence to amend the bill to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and other criteria.”

Homo-activists and feminists participating in Republican discussions are quick to claim that Pence is weak, boring, compromising, etc. Here's why.

Religious Freedom Restoration Act (Indiana)
Wikipedia
Background
In 2000, Pence stated "Congress should oppose any effort to recognize homosexual's [sic][28] as a 'discreet [sic] and insular minority' entitled to the protection of anti-discrimination laws similar to those extended to women and ethnic minorities." He called for "an audit to ensure that federal dollars were no longer being given to organizations that celebrate and encourage the types of behaviors that facilitate the spreading of the HIV virus".[29][30][31] He commented that homosexuals should not serve in the military, stating "Homosexuality is incompatible with military service because the presence of homosexuals in the ranks weakens unit cohesion" and in 2010 stated that repealing Don't ask, don't tell would "have an impact on unit cohesion."[32] Pence opposed the 2009 Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Act stating that Obama would "advance a radical social agenda"[33] and said that pastors "could be charged or be subject to intimidation for simply expressing a Biblical worldview on the issue of homosexual behavior."[34]

Have they thought this through? Do they want President Pence?

They aren’t as smart as their political forebears, who took the time to get Vice President Agnew out before driving out Nixon. They knew Ford was malleable.

Interesting. Getting rid of Trump could be more like Pearl Harbor. It might just further awaken a sleeping / dozing giant.

I’d rather keep Trump for 6 more years and have Pence for 8 more after that though. Never in my life though have we had a four term run of consistent policy and political principles though. Not since the exception of Roosevelt then Truman.

I will consider any attack on Trump with these made up phony charges an attack on me, my vote, my liberty, what is left of rule-of-law and the Constitution. If the dimwits want open war they will get it. We have been princely up until now.

Acorrding to the 22 Amendment, if Pence were to take over as President after January 20, 2019, he would be eligible to serve two more terms.

And if Trump isn’t removed until January 21st next year, Pence can serve two years plus two terms!

If you imagine Trump being removed from office after January 20, 2019, at that point Pence would be eligible for up to ten years in office. I suspect things would get quite ugly over the coup against our duly-elected President of the United States, but in any case the democrats would not have the power they are dreaming of seizing.

I’m not concerned about Pence - but I can imagine a multi-million man armed march on D.C. if Trump were to be impeached...

Now join this opinion piece with nearby stories that the impeachment of Trump would lead to open rebellion (or worse).

Throw out Trump, then replace him with a fierce ideologue? And give that ideologue an angry army of millions of pissed-off Americans to back up his every move?

The Dems already fear the Silent Army lurking within the population. (They keep trying to disarm us, remember.) Now give that army a ferocious general with an objective and a plan and watch the fireworks fly!
