American political leaders of both parties are paying tribute and offering prayers for ailing Arizona Sen. John McCain, but President Donald Trump has so far been silent.
Neither the White House nor the president has yet spoken out after McCain's family announced Friday that the former prisoner of war and longtime public servant would no longer seek medical treatment for an aggressive form of brain cancer.
Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell are praising McCain and offering prayers for his family, as is Mitt Romney, the GOP's 2012 presidential nominee....

LOL!
I can’t take Ibuprofen, tears up the stomach.
Thank You. It’s been a few years but still sucks. Kinda one of those lingering things.
I try to look at it as at least She doesn’t hurt anymore and is in a much better place than We are.
I’ll Pray for You
McCain got a lot more years than the men on The Wall and the thousands upon thousands who came home and then died because they served in Vietnam. And how many POW/MIA are still not accounted for?
But but but . . .
Were told thoughts and prayers dont matter
Gee, and didnt OCommie and Google skip mention of Christian holidays?
Yet not a peep from the AP
Fear not.....there will be very little mourning for Senator, John McCain among the overwhelming numbers of the American people and voters. There will be no tens of thousands average, rank & file of American folks lining the roadways & highways as his funeral motorcade goes by. He will be honored as was former, First Lady Barbara Bush was a nice display, correct ceremony in a church but, no millions of mourning Americans to pay their last respects as her motorcade passed. The American public gets it. they know who is good and who is not. Case Closed!!!
Bottom line: “You reap what you in life” and “Whatever goes around comes around”. McCain, the Clintons, the Obamas, the Bushes....none of them come close to the passing of POTUS, Ronald Reagan. I remember it well.
Loathe the man
I look at it this way, McC was a veteran and I honor
him for his service, other than that he seemed like
a back stabbing SOB.
He’s not DEAD yet, and when he is I’m sure the President
will say something appropriate.
Not bad for someone who has been awake for 72 hours.
Insomnia two nights in a row, I hate it.
Nope, my idea of magic underwear involves a woman wearing something she bought at Victoria's Secret.
I agree they're sad.
I agree with you, Sarah, but as a Christian, I must hope that he repents.
There probably wasn’t enough pork and graft in it for them.
One would think that, as a Vietnam veteran, McCain would have worked diligently to ensure that all our MIA/POWs were accounted for or, at the very least, as many as possible.
I do believe that many POW/MIA families tried for years to get information about their loved ones who never came home. I don’t recall reading anywhere that McCain actively worked through the years to help them.
She WISHES them things were brains.
Just mammary glands Miss, just mammary glands.
“If Trump said anything it’d be seen as hypocritical.”
By whom?
My family stood in line for 6 hours to pass by his coffin in the Rotunda. Well worth it, too.
