Friday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” former Republican National Committee chair Michael Steele likened President Donald Trump’s rally last night in Wilkes-Barre, PA to a “circus” that is causing “swing voters” to move away from Republicans.
Steele said, “Pennsylvania is a bellwether for a number of important races coming up this fall and the fact that the president is so narrowly playing to a base, that he feels good in that setting, he’s having fun, he’s riffing and cussing and doing all this and those folks are loving it. To Charlie’s point, the rest of the country, the independent voters, center/right Democrats, and Republicans are looking at this and going, ‘what is this all about?’ ………..
(Steele) added, “I think, back to your point about swing voters, I think those swing voters are moving away from the Trump circus and focusing more on the fact that they want something a little bit different, and this ain’t it.”

Now the Republicans may indeed lose elections in Pennsylvania this cycle—but not because of Trump.
The kangaroo Supreme Court of PA re-drew district lines that made Pennsylvania a demographic lock for Demon Rats. So if/when the Demons win in 2018, the Fake News will spew the lie put out by Steele.

Steele was the token “Republican” on the MSNBC commentary Election Night 2016, along with James Carville as the Democratic expert. To his credit, Carville was more fair and objective than Steele, who really said nothing that was beneficial to either Trump or the Republicans. He’s like the neocons - let them leave, we’re better off without them.

I remember when this jackass was head of the RNC, I actually thought he was a good guy..he introduced Sarah Palin and pretended like he actually liked her, then he stabbed her in the back and started trashing her..figured out what kind of human being he was from that point on

I think and hope that Steele is totally wrong.
He is just being used by the anti-Trump elements to try to turn people against Trump.
