American politics is a wonder for the world to behold. Our free speech traditions produce all kinds of interesting folderol, over the top in its theatrics and yet usually deeply meaningful to those participating in it.
It was on display Monday, in front of the United States Supreme Court building, appearing seemingly by magic moments after President Donald Trump announced he’d chosen D.C. Appellate Judge Brett Kavanaugh to replace retiring Associate Justice Anthony Kennedy. The right was there. And the left, each itching to get their point across. They had signs, including some urging opposition to nominees not picked, pre-printed just in case. They chanted and opined for the cameras and had a raucous time as those in the crowd—which was a lot smaller than it looked on TV—tried to out-shout each other.
It was messy and it was noisy and it was wonderful. It’s the way things in America are sometimes supposed to be when the stakes are high. But this kind of expression also has a dark side, one that some politicians and prominent figures on the left are irresponsibly stoking of late as part of their campaign of massive resistance to President Trump.
Go back to the Obama years or even to the Clinton presidency and you won’t be able to find many or even any examples of political activists chasing down presidential appointees in shopping malls, harassing them at their homes, confronting them in restaurants, or taking the opportunity to “dox” folks by giving out phone numbers and addresses of people with whom they disagreed. The opposition to these administrations was fierce but largely remained, at a personal level, civil....

It is already out of control. The left uses violence it is one of the commie goals. Then when someone on our side shoots one of them to protect themselves they will do gun control mantra.
Why limit it to Trump Officials? Republican members of Congress have already been shot and wounded while practicing for a baseball game.
It's out of control now... and if the thugs win in the midterms it'll get worse.
Best thing for both parties is for democrats to lose big - then come back with idea that might appeal to Americans NOT just intimidate them.
The thugs go after private citizens with MAGA hats or signs in our yards.
We need to win and win big in the mid-terms - tell the thugs hat beating up opponents is NOT the American Way.
That and all will be blamed on Trump, his kids, his grandkids and deplorables. The GOPe will jump on board, too.
How about instead of security, there be arrests without bail and serious prison time.
I believe the gunning down of several Republicans at a softball practice, last year; including Steve Scalise who nearly died, showed that things were already "out of control".
From the start it’s been a departure from the rule of law. Don’t have the votes? Use brownshirt tactics to compel changes in government in order to protect public servants’ family members.
Just simple public disagreement with the Obama administration was grounds for Feral Government harassment.
Amazing contrast.
Already so. Rand got beaten within an inch of his life and the liberal court sent the guy to 30 days in jail. Can you imagine what would have happened if you or I pummelled Chuck Schumer one day - we’d have the book thrown at us.

How long before gutless Repubbies charge the Democ🐀s with fomenting this violence? Sen Gillibrand & others say 'fight hard! It is life and death! Thousands are going to die!' If Sarah Palin said that while violence was going on the media would demand her incarceration! NUTS!
It is not being stopped.
It is already out of control.
Maybe we should start calling it "Left Privilege".
I was over at Twitter looking over the timelines of some Resistance biggies.
They'd have been on the IRS audit list in a flash under Zero and his thugs.
The problem is that they are willing to beat the hell out of people that disagree with them. We just go to the couch and come here and gripe. If you were in high school and being bullied, how many posts would it take to stop the bully? Until we are all willing to put our fists up to defend our beliefs, it’s only going to further embolden them into the brown shirts that they are. It’s only a matter of time before they get so powerful that they start exterminating Christians like they do overseas.
Recall how long it took Disney to disown Antifa. Not sure Comcast followed.
The Democrat Thug Party along with media conglomerates are encouraging violence and the destruction of sovereignty. But instead of denying the likes of Comcast its subscription revenue, the vast majority of conservatives would rather bark at the moon.
My only appreciation of the Left is its ability to mobilize — something the Right is incapable of doing — save the Trump handicap.

And if you happen to live in an area where LE is under management or control of Obama traduced cops, like Broward County in Florida, Or the LAPD, the police will do nothing to intervene is violence against Trump staff or ICE.
This is where the 2nd amendment comes in.
And it may touch off CWII.
Unbelievable that Newsweek printed this. I doubt they’re concerned about attacks on Trump supporters. Probably already seeing polls showing all voters are against this.
