Sen. Lindsey Graham would like to see the White House apologize for a "disgusting" joke that was made about the health of his friend, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., who is battling brain cancer.
Last week, a White House press aide, Kelly Sadler, joked to colleagues during a closed-door meeting mocked McCain’s health after he called for his Senate colleagues to reject Gina Haspel’s nomination for CIA director. “It doesn’t matter, he’s dying anyway,” Sadler said.
Graham, R-S.C., said if this was in fact a joke, "it was a terrible joke."
"I just wish somebody from the White House would tell the country that was inappropriate, that's not who we are in the Trump administration," Graham told "Face the Nation" moderator Margaret Brennan for an interview that will air Sunday on CBS....

As a SC resident, there's little to apologize for, we dislike linda even more than you.
SC has open primaries which allows the RATS to cross over and vote for linda. Then, in the general she wins because SC is such a solid red state. linda has a job for life as long as SC has open primaries.
Until our legislature grows some cojones and changes the primary law we're stuck with linda.
Now to address the theme of this thread: linda, if it hadn't been for a leak to the press, you wouldn't have known about Sadler's remark. The leaker need to be found and punished as harshly as possible.

I understand that the aide who made the comment HAS apologized. Why does the White House need to? Did the statement reflect Presidential policy?

I am so sick about hearing about that. It was non-stop on FOX all day. Are they saying he’s not dying? If he is still dying did the leakers leak the inflection? Was it a joke or just a statement of fact?
