The family of Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) does not plan to invite President Donald Trump to the senator’s funeral when the time comes, according to a New York Times report.
McCain and Trump have long had a contentious relationship, including Trump slamming McCain and insisting he was not a war hero during his 2016 campaign.
“He’s not a war hero,” Trump said back then, referring to the former prisoner of war. “He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured.”
The relationship did not get better after Trump was elected, particularly after Trump mocked McCain after he voted against a key Obamacare repeal.
According to NBC, it is McCain’s wish that Trump not attend....

The Progressives have invest a century in turning the USA into a nation that accepts communism when it is offered to them. But, despite their work, their control of education and media, their infiltration into government, they still can’t get half of the people to agree with them.
Obama sent them the signal that the time is now to ACT. For his 8 years, they accelerated the program beyond the Nudge to the Shove. We replied by voting for Trump.
They are furious. The Deep State, the academics, the media are telling their side to ACT and telling our side to surrender...unconditionally.
Now, they want our guns more than ever. They want us out of media. They want us out education. They want our president impeached and incarcerated.
Then, they want us working to produce for them, living as second-class citizens, consuming what they consider appropriate.
Do you see them backing down?
Civil war is inevitable. But, the question is when and what will be the trigger that changes our mind about what is acceptable. Our side is moral and their side is amoral. Our side believes in Christian values and their side believes that the ends justifies the means. Their side marches and burns and destroys. Our side makes bad jokes about boating accidents.

And the traitor’s funeral will be held at the National Cathedral in Washington. Songbird getting a send-off reserved for presidents and heads of state. What a joke he was and what a joke American politics have became. Treating this old closet democrat like a hero. He kissed democrats ass for over 30 years and worked against his own party and the American people.
What makes any of them think Trump would WANT to go to his funeral? You can’t diss someone who doesn’t care.

He was a terrible Navy officer who would have been kicked out if not for his last name. As a POW he collaborated with the enemy and should have been tried for treason. Years later he belittled the families of MIAs, calling them liars for saying there was proof their husbands were still alive. He abruptly ended the search for POW/MIAs, knowing full well of the credible sources some might still be alive.
I respect people who wear the unform - while they are serving. That does not mean they all serve equally well. I don't necessarily disagree with your assessment. The military has the right to discipline those who serve.
Sometimes you have to vote the party, not the man. At least I think so. I’m sorry I had to vote for him.
That concerns me. Please pray for me because I make a lot of people hate me for telling what I Believe to be the truth. It is the truth in my mind but how do you tell the truth other than by the actions of others. By the way I am 78 and in the age territory of McCain.
McCain funeral will get the adulation from the MSM as a proxy to pour more hate on Trump. The’ll be wall-to-wall coverage that day. But, here’s the truth. The MSM doesn’t give a crap about McCain except to use as a bludgeon on conservatives. They hate McCain. And a week after his funeral, no one will mention McCain’s name.
