I have recently decided to run for one of New Mexicos seats in the US Congress.
My platform is very simple, consisting of only two or three* points:
Both the Republican- and the Democrat-Party are all-talk and no action.
The Republican party bills itself as for government accountability and fiscal responsibility yet what did they do in response to the NSAs espionage program? Nothing. And when the Debt ceiling was reached, did they as-a-party push for expenditures to be cut rather than the debt ceiling to be increased? Nope.
Likewise the Democrat party bills itself as for the working-man but did the Democrat party push against the H1B visa fraud scams that are so prevalent in the technology industry? Nope. And lets not forget the collusion and conspiracy the party did to promote Hillary Clinton above Bernie Sanders.
Ill run under whichever party will take me. Given my platform I dont imagine Ill "make friends" in the Senate, precisely because a lot of people, even in the Senate, are benefiting from the current culture of corruption.
So, which party are you running under?
I don’t care which party he runs under. I want to know if he will vote for the republican or Democrat for majority leader and support the President’s agenda.
I also want to know that he is not splitting the conservative vote.
Sounds kind of FISHy to me!
I'm actually trying to fill the nominating petitions for both parties. (The petitions themselves are the signers nominating a person, AFAIK it doesn't have to be a member of the party that they're nominating.)
I don’t care which party he runs under. I want to know if he will vote for the republican or Democrat for majority leader and support the President’s agenda.
If the President's agenda is Constitutional, I'll support it; if not I won't. As an example, Sessions has since his appointment doubled down on the War on Drugs, which has no Constitutional backing (a Constitutional amendment was required to so restrict alcohol). Is continuing/supporting the War on Drugs part of President Trump's agenda? I don't know, he seems to be rather neutral on the issue himself as far as I can tell.
I also want to know that he is not splitting the conservative vote.
Let me ask it this way: do you want to conserve the practices that ignore the Constitution?
The current actions of the NSA certainly do so… so does the practice of civil asset forfeiture
(which is just theft).
Usually candidates for public office have photos of themselves.
I don’t see one on your website.
Care to share?
And maybe a Curriculum Vitae?
*shrug* — I've kind of heard that sort of thing all the time growing up…
I don’t know you, and though I have an interest in NM, I don’t recall giving permission for my screen name to be on any NM ping list but Cedar Dave’s.
Don’t you think you should have asked those on his list if they would allow you to ping them?
I may be in left field here, but I don’t appreciate “spam.”
If you don’t win the primary, will u support the GOP nominee?
FYi
Mick Rich is a solid conservative
His campaign’s already floundering.
How will you deal with the “Roy Moore” treatment that all Constitutionalists must face - hoax accusations, election fraud, 10s of millions in dark money opposition and so forth?
Hopefully no relation to Albert Fish. 8>)
I used Cedar Dave's pinglist -- it's right there on his profile w/ instructions on how to do so.
Don’t you think you should have asked those on his list if they would allow you to ping them?
I rather assumed it was acceptable because all the information is right there on CederDave's page.
I may be in left field here, but I don’t appreciate “spam.”
Well, I apologize if that was incorrect protocol.
In most states you have to be enrolled in the party of the nomination you are seeking. I would be circumspect that NM is any different.
Candidates for US Senate should not be wasting their time posting and responding to comments from people who cannot vote for them.
Which one is the candidate?
I honestly don't know; I haven't really looked into Mr. Rich at all.
