John Danforth can comfort himself over that if he likes by asserting that Trump doesn’t represent Republicans, but Republicans themselves have been pretty clear over the past 26 months what their view of that is.

You are so right. My list in post #1 is what was going on PRE-Trump. What exactly have these so called “conservatives” actually achieved? Very very little.

At this point I don’t have any intention of voting for the GOP again, excluding President Trump of course.

They do not represent me or my country, they are all liars, and I want nothing further to do with them.

I’m just not voting for them any more, no point.

I have said for years that you won’t find a bigger loser in politics than some @sshole whose greatest aspiration is to spend his career in Washington as a U.S. Senator in the minority party. That description fits this guy to a T.

I wasn’t aware that Senator Harrison Ford was still alive. (Listen to his older stuff. To me he sounds just like him),

Just who is this danforth loser? Did he get a pass for the weekend from his nursing facility for the congenitally stupid?

I have them on my 20 footer. Use them to anchor for blackfish and winter flounder.

Ha,ha, yea I guess so. We lost the contract prior to me starting with the company, but I remember as a kid going into work with my dad and seeing all the anchors going through production. We manufactured all available sizes.the only thing we outsourced was the galvanizing after they were completed.

If I thought Donald Trump represented what the Republican Party stood for I wouldn’t have voted for him.

That's what 2016 was all about, and the RNC and DNC must do everything they can to avoid that reality. Half of all Dems voted in the Primary for someone who wasn't a Dem. 80% of all GOP voters voted for someone who was either not a Republican (Trump, Carly, Carson) or was opposing the RNC (Cruz). Americans are done with the Establishment, and the MSM and those in power must distract from this movement as much as possible, at all costs... because their very survival as power-brokers is fully at stake. I can only pray that more and more voters and typical non-voting citizens get on board, through social media and any other paths.

In 2016, I believe Donald Trump was the first Republican presidential candidate in history to win EVERY COUNTY in the Pennsylvania primary election. Danforth is damn right that Trump doesn’t represent what the GOP has come to represent in the minds of many voters in this country.

That’s okay, Danforth and Republicans like him do not represent the people. I’ll put the people and their interests up against those of the Republican Party insiders and any point in time.

Trump was a 69 year-old multi-billionaire when he declared his candidacy. At that stage in his life, with his resources, he could have decided very easily to spend the rest of his life enjoying his money and properties, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He certainly would have deserved to do that. But instead, he decided to serve the people of the country that had allowed him and his family to do so well, knowing full well that he would be on the receiving end of a gigantic $hitstorm from every establishment politician, and from the media. Despite this, he decided to go forth, because something in him demanded that he do it, demanded that he do the right thing for this country and its people.

Trump has been in contact with the average ordinary guy since he was a child, and he appreciates the cares and concerns that the average person has. On the other hand, people like Danforth couldn’t give a rat’s ass about the average person, they are only interested in their own pockets, their own power, and perhaps the well-being of a few friends and family. They are pure garbage, who lie to us on a regular basis, just so that we will give them the power that enables them to live a great life.

That Trump is not like people like Danforth is the greatest credit that Trump can ever get in this life. I am sure that he is very, very well aware of that, and I hope that he derives great comfort from it.

Why do you think we have $500,000,000,000 deficit EVERY frickin year with China? Why are US corporations moving plants to Mexico? Why a GOP senator was pushing for 500% increase in H1B visa's for cheap IT workers from India & others? Why do we engage in foreign nation building? (higher profits for donor class businesses). Why do you think are we importing one million LOW skilled and LOW net worth LEGAL immigrants EVERY year? Why they never built the Wall, and will not fund the wall?

My guess is corrupt uniparty elites are selling out the American people for cash from billionaire donors... The Cheap Labor Express is like 'money is the bank' for our elected crooks. First, we destroy the democrat party then we go after the GOPE lazy butts.

The anchors we produced went from 21/2 lbs up to over 100lbs, you’re probably using an 8 or 12 lbs. We actually made anchors under our own name in the late 80’s to early 90’s, rather than galvanizes steel, they were 316L stainless, and the larger ones used Nitronic50 for the shank, in lieu of the 316L. Dennis Conners of Americas Cup fame, used one on his boat Stars&Stripes. Believe it or not, those anchors had to at least weigh a minimum amount, no cheating by light weight componopents.

If I thought Donald Trump represented what the Republican Party stood for I wouldn’t have voted for him.

SECOND THAT!!! I voted for him based on his promise to take it to the old stream lying media AND to drain the district of corruption swamp - DEFINATELY NOT BECUASE HE WAS RUNNING UNDER THE REPUBLICAN BRAND WHICH STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN.

Voted for him because he was NOT part of the establishment no matter which party was attached to his name. The establishment hates this - having to respond to their constituents - and will stop Trump in any and all matters they can!!

I certainly hope Trump has the gonads to veto a CR when this lazy a$$ congress sends one up. We have been living on CRs since about 10 years ago. When was the last time all 13 appropriations bills were passed ON TIME?

Isn’t former Sen. Danforth one of the ultra-rich Ralston-Purina heirs? And, as I recall, an ordained Episcopal minister? Who resurrected him from the political graveyard to come out and condemn President Trump?

There’s a former Bush advisor, named Wehner, calling for a shadow government to undermine President Trump.

That is sedition pure and simple.

WHERE THE HELL IS THAT USELESS ATTORNEY GENERAL?
